Well, this will be interesting. Our two soul-mages, rolling for something... I'm thinking this guy is either a soul-mage himself, or some sort of god... or a daemon.

Picked up on the same thing.
Yet we both failed our rolls. And/or didn't have any bonuses on them. So I have no idea. And I can't exactly say 'try again' without metagaming.


(Also, you all may have noticed that I do a lot of elipses and stuff during speech. Simply put, it's hard to get my thoughts across IC whilst keeping him as the 'doesn't talk much' type. So because of his general state of illness, all of the pauses are generally him starting to get out of breath, or coughing.)

From what I can guess, this guy is probably like some kind of 'lone ranger' lvl100 NPC type character.

Plus the soul-people made a soul check, and he said he's 'wandering the roads until his bones give up the ghost'. So Y'know. Could be a golem gone wrong or something.

He might be a soul-mage, or maybe even a daemon... But he might be one of the gods, as well. Remember, divine or partially-divine entities are particularly susceptible to soul-magic; it would make sense for soul mages to be able to sense their presence. And that bonus was pretty superhuman.

I think we should let him stay, and see how it goes. I and scapheap should be on alert - if he is a soul mage or a daemon, we're the likely first targets. But let's not be too hasty.
