In your opinion which scientist, actor or historic figure was in reallity an dwarf who was kidnapped by humans and grew up on a human hamlet/city?

I can list some:
Wernher von Braun.
Albert Einstein.
Chuck Norris.

He was full of crazy designs, and he had a beard! Well, we can't really know that he had a beard, but that's how he's usually depicted. Maybe some historians at the time recorded that he indeed had a beard though. Anyway, screw pumps and parabolic mirrors turning enemy ships ablaze! How dorfy isn't that?
