that's why there's a "v2" in the title. The original was far more plot-focused, somewhat darker and run by @scapheap. He dropped it and later gave @Elf control of it. This thread promptly timeskipped to the final battle where the protagonists ruthlessly massacred an entire army of soldiers, most of whom were probably conscripts and stopped the invasion. Even though their stats were lower back then.
