300 pages per volume? Pretty puny. I would have done more like 20 volumes tops.

Besides, simple solution:
"Yuri, tell me all you know about how Shys'm Caes was bound to you."
Because for an overgod, Shys'm Caes is a wimp. All of it was bound pretty easily; 2/??ths of it should be easier.

One of them has the lion's share of the mind and personality in it, and is Shys'm Caes.

The other is just pure power.

It's easier to completely wipe the former and just put it with the latter so the person already controlling it can go fight wars with them than to deal with killing the latter to get at her shard, because with that level of power she could WTFPWN both of them.

And as for asking Yuri, then someone should ASK HER.
