General Discussion / 2013 Major League Baseball/World Baseball Classic thread
« on: March 02, 2013, 02:21:23 pm »
It's spring. Well, almost. And Spring in North America and the Far East means baseball. Now, prior to the MLB season beginning in early April, there is the World Baseball Classic. With players from both MLB and NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) it has the best players from around the league playing for their home countries. Japan won it in both 2009 and 2006.
EDIT: For TV viewings, in the United States it will be on MLB Network.
I'll keep this thread up and convert it to a MLB overall thread once the WBC completes later this month. First Round is round robin, while the second round will be double-elimination. The final round will be single elimination.

Pool C San Juan, Puerto Rico
March 7th-10th
