This would mostly replace the templates. Added some more curse-like conditionals, and slightly improved things with commas. Still plenty of run-ons, but it should be a bit nicer.
I don't know if I care for the non-setting-neutral ones in that section (Cerol's mostly). It would be fairly trivial to create the option of setting themes for entries, and culling them based on the status of checkboxes - just use a bitfield check on the cooresponding entry in a seperate array, or ignore it if it's absent.

Ok, did some more serous coding.Use a proper IDE if you're going to make changes this big =P Will help tremendously. Eclipse has plugins for javascript I believe. I only really know Java, C#, and a couple of BASIC dialects, and I have other projects to work on so I can't help much here. The debugger will be able to tell you what indexes it's using that are undefined and from there it shouldn't be too hard to track down what's going wrong.
* I got iteration to work perfectly, although tags now have to contain # somewhere since it broke when I tried to search for brackets.

That said, you couldn't begin to sort through the grammatical mess this is without adding all sorts of conditionals for punctuation, plurality, etc. which kind of defeats the purpose of having easily accessible groups of tags in the first place. It also makes the run-on problem even worse. You could potentially make it work by grouping fragments that should be worded the same way into larger clumps and building up the sentence from the ground that way ("[SINGULAR_THIRD_PRONOUN] [IS_WAS]" and "[PLURAL_THIRD_PRONOUN] [ARE_WERE]", then using [PEOPLE_DOING] [VERB] for everything else) but that's getting into the absurd.
I think the problem is that it tries to be too many things. A magical effect generator, a name and relationship generator (gain the enmity of Lord Suchandsuch), a weather tracker, etc. It comes out extremely jumbled, like a small child trying to tell their own version of Lord of the Rings. If we trimmed it down to its core (this being, of course, your vagina growing chitin and the sky filling with beautiful rainbows twice) I think the tag thing has a lot of promise, especially for simple stuff like materials, colors, animals, etc.

By now the technical parts pretty much work solidly, although some way to prioritize other than (manual) repetition would be nice. However, more content is needed, and ANYONE can help with that!
