I mean, new york is probably full to the brim with magic dudes doign some super-hero stuff. I doubt that Sahde would actually be able to deal with the sheer amount of resistance he would face.




Icarus, as she is entirely unregistered, is of course blacklisted. That would mean inside an anti-magic field, she can not switch her body, which is technicaly, the only magical ability she possesses. The overdrive is more or less a mechanical function of her standard bodies. Should for any reason whatsoever she be forced inside a more primitive body, she'd be powerless. Of course that means if one of her bodies is destroyed inside an anti-magic field, she can't emergency upload herself to another one of her bodies via a remote connection, or even just jack into someones cellphone or laptop to save herself from complete deletion.

Stella whitelisted and registered in all her forms. I suppose with dragons being more common now, there might even be some form of diplomatic immunity going on


Selina would be whitelisted, but her business often subject to checks if anything illegal is going on - demonstratively


HILDA would have to register her standard forms, but of course shifting into weaponry outside of a gun range or when hunting (with a hunters license) would not be legal, at least in france.


Lizzy would probably not register herself


Winry I suppose would be similar to Selina, could be whitelisted for an electronics store.


Ashley might have a partial whitelist to teleport to public places in the EU - elsewhere, she'd probably need to teleport to teleporter stations (assuming teleports are common enough), where her passport would be checked, I mean, international travel is international travel. Not that someone can really stop her from just teleporting from places without coverage to places without coverage.


Sen would have less problems with anti-magic, I doubt they would be far spread in egypt.


Dalia, definetly blacklisted, that's very harmful magic.

on a different topic, tried to use my mothers laptop to google something. So I open up chrome, and ho, the startsite is not google. It's not yahoo or bing either - but some super obscure probably malware riddled thing I never heared about.
I sigh, enter google in the search bar, which opens a yahoo search for google. I sigh some more, forget about whatever I wanted to google, and first set the start site to google, uninstall 3 toolbars and get adblock.
Now convinced that something is definetly not right, I download malwarebytes and run a search - 30.000 hits. Not 300, not even 3000. thirty thousand viruses and malwares and whatnot.
Of course, as soon as I try to delete the fuckers, the whole thing crashes, I restart and bam, screen is locked with blackmail stuff blah blah, pay us 100 dollars or we delete all files etc.


I sigh, and hope these fuckers do delete all files, they may actually get rid of some viruses along the way. I confiscated the laptop for now, and will completely whipe and reinstall it. And then I will get some child-proofing programm and block absolutely everything apart from email (with a new adress that is not signed up to every spam ever that she can click to get scammed by nigerians) and some game websites I trust. God damnit, how computer illiterate do you have to be...


I am glad that she would find online shopping too complicated, else I am sure our bank account would have been hijacked months ago...

well, GWG is still doing the gurps thing, and now that he put some effort into it, I'd feel a bit like an asshole if we just ignore it now. Either way, it looks like something that may take a while.


apart from GWGs work, Sen still needs stats, alongside whatever secondary characters Projeck still wants to stat besides Ashley. Once those are done, I suppose the admin GM (that would be you), goes over the charsheets one more time, and double checks for wether or not someone needs some more adjustments. and we are good to go.

What's the difference between the forms? Is it comparable to the differences between ICARUS's chassises?

Hildas alternative forms have different stat allocations, while Icarus different forms have the same stats. It's a considerable difference

Well, I thought the destruction of several large banking firms would have severe ramifications on the economy, due to the massive stacks of debt everyone seems to have.

Either way, I don't think Shade is that powerful, considering there'd be magical opposition in the city anyway. Even if she managed to stomp the entire city, anti-magic specialists would be all over the city like a rash.

Dr. Alucard Faucheuse disappears from detection after publicly announcing his resigning of post inside IRIS, watching over the Void Gate now that Nodoka is living with her father--some rumor him to be conducting mysterious experiments with magic and even report him having been driven insane. It is rumored that for 10 years, he worked on a way for Ashley to be able to remain within creation.

Bartimaeus, after using almost all of his energy to cast a strong illusion spell on the Void Gate to render it as a tree, begins to wander the world, only dropping by to see Alucard occasionally. Years later he disappears completely, last seen in Saudi Arabia.

It helps her feel happy to be around little kids, and they enjoy those days when she makes butterflies go around the room, or brings some cookies from the Ryan Home.
