There was something like that in Michigan, they avoided pollution by just mining from the bottom up so all the waste rock just got used as filler and they did not need to dump it anywhere.

Exactly, if anything we are finally getting a proper normal left. The yelling about the "far left" makes no sense.

So i found a news story, i dont care if its real or not because its hilarious. Apparently a 14 year old florida girl called in a pizza delivery to her neighbors house, then stole the delivery vehicle, in order to go visit her boyfriends house. Horny 14 year olds are a menace to society.

Apparently she ditched the car in someone elses driveway, but the cops tracked her down and arrested her.

What it actually resembles more is a kind of therapy. Ironically, prostitutes are frequently hired by people who just want to have a therapeutic interaction and not a sexual one.

If your asking about core territory overlap, there really is not much between ancient and modern Macedonia.

God I hate EC apologists, just admit it's terrible and stop making up excuses.

"Apologists"? As if the EC was the direct cause of a genocide at some point.

And I think you should realize that dismissing my arguments as "excuses" without any actual refutation and then making a personal attack probably isn't going to change my mind.
Because every excuse for the EC torn down a million times and I don't feel like rehashing it at 2 in the morning.

My wtf for tpday is that people talk about Hillory not winning, when she actually did get the popular vote, but an unaccountable second vote is held of people who aren’t required to vote the way they say they’ll vote that went for Trump.
Ignoring all politics just for a second, that is bullshit.
Basing on popular vote is bad because it because it gives all the power to major population centers. If the election was run by popular vote, Trump would have visited NYC, Los Angeles, and Chicago to steal moderate voters away from crooked Hillary. He would assume that most of rural America is going to vote for him anyway, and that those votes are insignificant in the long run. He may very well have won the presidency regardless, with a slightly different campaign message.

The point of the electoral system is (theoretically) to distribute power across all the states. States with higher population are worth a bit more votes, but not overwhelmingly. You need to serve rural states' interests in addition to the urban ones'.

Although the Electors might be able to vote for whomever, in practice they almost always vote the way they're supposed to. (We could make it automatic, but it doesn't really change much.) The real issue, IMO, is that the way they're "supposed" to vote is winner-take-all. Example: Pennsylvania is worth 20 points. Trump got 48.8% of the state, Hillary got 47.7%. Think they should each get 10 points? Too bad! Trump: 20, Hillary: 0! This misrepresents the state's approval of Trump. (Maine and Nebraska do things differently, but they're only worth 2 and 3 points, respectively.)
The city thing is just not true though. It's only a small percentage of the population in major cities. People need to stop using that argument and just admit the EC is terrible.

A Venezuelan civil war is probably likley at this point, sad to say.

I found a really interesting article on native american armour.

It made sense that the NAs used armour before the introduction of the gun: almost everyone did in some way or another, but I'd never seen it depicted or even mentioned before. They made armour out of sand-reinforced leather and out of wood or bone slats and rods (and possibly copper in some areas). They did stop using it as the gun was introduced, as did, well, pretty much everyone did with their armour when guns showed up.

Quote
This led to one of the most fascinating and under-appreciated aspects of the Native American military complex: the armored war horse.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Those are rock drawings of native american armoured war horses.

And that's a suit of Pacific Northwest armor.
I would recommend "Native North American Armor Shields and Fortifications" if you want to look more into it.

As an aside, newly sworn-in Democratic congressman, Rashida Tlaib, made some waves when she said “we’re gonna go in there and impeach the motherfucker” in reference to Donny boy.

Highly unprofessional, but highly amusing too.
I see no issue with it. She has every reason to despise him personally and politically. It's a plus for me.

There's certainly a chilling effect if people are worried that they're not "kosher" enough to not get instantly banned the moment someone believes they shouldn't be able to get financing. I already know of one fanfic writer who is holding off on setting up a Patreon simply because he's worried he's too "right-wing" for Patreon (even though his writing is more-or-less apolitical).

Then there's the NSFW scene. We've had Patreon pressured into cracking down on it, we've had the Tumblrpocalypse...

Every day there seems to be fewer safe havens for user-generated content, for free speech.
All that has very little to do with some 'left' pc something or other and everything to do with what companies think will make them more money.
