Well, first you need an alchemy kit from somewhere. ANd probably a textbook so you can pretend to know what you're doing. Go get those things!

You go back to Dron's room and seeing as he isn't awake again yet, you take his stuff. Not all of it of course, most of it doesn't help and it would take all day to extract anything useful out of that brick of a textbook. What you need is hidden under a pile of flasks: Some flasks and a basic alchemy set. You also take the apple-colored orange and a bucket of water while you go into the city to acquire something to dump in the water. What exactly that should be you have no idea though.

Adult of some kind, this never really came up before. ???

You leave there and go into one of the alleys. As you walk down one of them, you find:
A cat
A couple lizards
A mauve plant
Some dead grass
A partially-eaten apple
And some broken masonry.

Except for the cat, you could fit all of them individually into the bucket, or the majority of them (again sans cat) in it at once. You would need to get a bigger bucket to fit the cat in.

Take the masonry, some grass, the apple, and the lizards. As we head out, see if the lizards eat the apple or grass.
