(I wouldn't actually have to say anything, if we're waiting. However, let's go along with Egan's suggestion.)

"Oh, you know. Immortality."

Tyler laughs. "Immortality? Well, good luck with that. Though I think a good fitness routine will help you live longer."

You pull off the freeway. Just a few more minutes to go.

Tell her that we are almost there and keep driving.

(Also, check the poll everyone btw)

Tell her that we are almost there and keep driving.

You spend the rest of the drive in a somewhat awkward silence, which Tyler tries to fill with stories about hemoglobin supplement protein. "Well, here's my stop," she says, scooping up her duffel. "About that self defense class I mentioned... it's at the community center, Mondays and Saturdays." She passes you a card. "Great for confidence building! And, you never know, might help you live longer," she chuckles.

With that, she throws up the hood on her training sweats and practically hops out of the car, striding towards the gym from which you can faintly hear the blare of hip-hop. You take a look at the card:

Well, she didn't try to bite your jugular at least. Hmm. 7:04. There's more pings on your app, but also more drivers out and about. The local auto repair place should be open now, too, so it might be a good time to get your seats checked out.

It'd probably be cheaper to fix the seat our selves then have someone else do it, we could go and buy a needle and tread and fix the seat ourselves, or we could just buy a seat cover and leave it at that.

(The research for this is surprisingly hard)

About ten minutes later, you pull into the lot outside Blue Auto Repair. One of the three garage doors hangs open, through which you can see there are no cars currently in shop. Steve Blue, an old acquaintance of yours, notices you as he sweeps a pile of dust out the open door. Disentangling his headphones from his long, greasy hair, he strolls up to the driver's side window. "Well, if isn't Eli! You want I should take that old thing off your hands at long last?"

"Cut that crap, Steve," you reply. "I just need some work done on the seats."

He purses his lips and nods. "Aight. Bring her in and I can take a look." He steps back to give you room, and, carefully, you pull into the shop. It looks the same as ever in here, about halfway split between fastidiously tidy and "lived-in" workspace. You turn off the engine and step out, going around and unlocking the back doors for Steve. He laughs a bit as he peers in through the windows. "Damn. Why you shoot someone in the face?"

With maybe a bit of a flirty edge? You know, if we end up with wittiness to spare.
