Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Further on that point, antimateer is suspected of antigravity. Experiences are soon to be held (involving throwing antihydrogen horizontally and look which way it falls)
In that case, wouldn't antimatter have a negative mass, and therefore be capable of FTL speeds?
no, not negative mass, but negative weight. Slight difference.

There is 0 indication that antimatter has antigravity. Some (such as William Hicks) suspected that it had negative weight... in the 1880s, before relativity was discovered. Relativity has made the idea of antimatter having antigravity all but useless to consider except as a wild hope.

Almost all arguments of logic and physics both point to antimatter reacting normally to gravity. The only reason that we're even experimenting is that it hasn't been proven.

It's already been done.
The results were something like antimatter is affected by gravity between -0.3 and 1.5 times the amount of regular matter. So not very conclusive at all.
Oh yeah, I knew that but I forgot.  ::)

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Some of the things he said sound reasonable.... some don't.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Eh, I ranted about the failings on the educational system once. But that was during a school assembly, when they asked students to ask questions, not on twitter.

We all had moments like this. That said, I am 99% sure none of us were the son of an A-list celebrity, with access to Twitter, and a major movie picture to our name.

You don't know that. I could secretly be Joe Biden for all you know.

You don't know that. I could secretly be Joe Biden for all you know.
That is true. That said, you are as likely to be Jill Biden as you are to be Joe Biden.

That also said, you are most likely male and around 19. Which means you are not Joe or Jill Biden.

You certainly couldn't. I know that because I am Joe Biden.
And you are probably a 23 year old male.

QED, I am Joe Biden.

Edit: Look! I'm 70!
