Kids these days.
Talk about having your priorities straight. Join Dark Side, get cookie, and know that the ability to destroy a planet is insignifigant to the power of the force.

Finally got my taxes done and realized I miscalculated my schedule M. I realized that the $400 (if single, $800 if married) you fill out when you say "yes" to 1 is a maximum value, not an absolute value and #s 2-4 would estimate anything below that if you say no. I even did the math to confirm it, and it checks out. I did miscalculate.

I had to beat myself over the head with the 1040 guide once or twice a few many several times for that, but nonetheless, it's not $400 added to my in, but it's close enough to make me happy. Tag that along with my 1099-G (optionally allowing my unemployment to get taxed, which I did allow with my consent), and I'm getting close to what I earned last year on my return (in layman's terms, a wad). Now I feel like an ass for being angry at work about my lower hours (and that I got screwed out of the "Make work pay credit"). It is bad, but it turns out my anger was exaggerated unjustly on my own behalf due to oversight.

I'll try to remember that tidbit next year.

EDIT:
This bookkeeper is now enjoying some booze to ease the mind.

I'm happy that, as a minor, I have no need to do taxes.

I'm happy that as an Australian, taxes are just taken from my pay slip, and come tax day if I over paid during the year it all comes back in a check. What happens if you underpay? Nobody knows, it has never been done! So I never need to worry about paying, and just look forward to receiving.

When your government was made entirely by criminals you are not encouraged to look at their dealings too closely.

Yeah, go for it dude. Lots of people into it around here can help you out if you need it. I was kinda turned off by the style choice and I seem to have an affinity for platform hells over bullet hells. It's still a solid game genre in itself.
