Title: military --> squad training doesn't work ?!

Hello,

i have a question about the military in the new df version.
I tried to build one squad with three members. One member is the military commander and the other ones are normal dwarfs.
I builded a training room with archery targets and set the one squad train in there (with 't'), but the squad didn't train archery in there.

Did anyone have a solution for this problem?

Have you assigned ranged weapons to your military dwaves? Have they picked up these weapons? Have you got ammo that they can train with (made out of bone or wood)?

I gave crossbows my dwarfs, but only the two normal dwarfs. I don't habe enough crossbows for all of my squad members.
They picked up these weapons and the weapons are now in the inverntory of the them. I've manufactured wooden ammo in my craftsworkshop and my craftdwarf produced it.

Uh... so just build more crossbows? I don't see what your problem is anymore.

Okay, now i know why it doesn't work ...

I have a squad with three members, but only two members have equipped a crossbow.
It is only possible to train, if all members in the squad have equipped a crossbow...

Now it works ... very confusing  :o
