We do not need violence to achieve our ends.

April Fools has been honored yet again. The great curse is averted for another year. 2023 is saved.

None must know of our sacrifice in the name of humanity, or the horrors that our lack of vigilance would bring.

How did I miss this? This is a Christmas miracle. We are blessed.

Also, oh no she's going to get misty to sleep. Oh no.

Are we still doing action suggestions? Start pulling the lever as much as possible, it's probably connected to the front gate or trash compactor or something and it'll annoy someone enough to let us out.

That's something you could do before as well, is that the only option now or can you still assign individual labors?

Honestly..... I've been hitting each and every dwarf as they walk onto the map for the last 10 years. The idea that a dwarf could accidentally be left with the wrong labor keeps me up at night :0

Eh sorry, I was mostly taking the piss. Our nation is really bad at taking care of its working population, and its population needs to stand up for itself way more than it does. I get you.

It's ok to stand up for oneself and one's fellow workers. People shouldn't have to be afraid of doing that.

The idea is that the Working Man should worry about what's good for the Working Man, to the exclusion of everything else. If the establishment and the entirety of society burns down because they refuse to negotiate fairly? That's their problem, not the Working Man's.

Fuck everyone everywhere for not thinking about me to the exclusion of everything else, how could they be so selfish.

Almost my entire family (like 50+ people) were exposed to Covid. Our great-uncle who hosts Thanksgiving is quite elderly and everyone made it because he's hosted thanksgiving for the last literal 50 years and we're worried about his health.

He tested for Covid after thanksgiving :(

Me and my wife and kid were not there because we could still be contagious for our own little plague, ironically.

No, just some dumb super rhinovirus that ripped through town last month. Got tested for covid/flu/strep, all negative. Got the bigboy super-deep covid test too.

They have the damn schools closed because all the staff has it as well as like half the town. There hasn't been Advil on the shelves for like 2 weeks because it gets bought so fast.

Finally on the other side of it, though.

Quickedit: It's not like, a dangerous virus, just super persistent and miserable. Just bad enough to stop people from functioning, but not enough to send anyone to the hospital (to my knowledge).

I am finally starting to shake off this respiratory superplague. I woke up without a throat that was so sore it would spasm and its kinda been getting better since.

A new day is dawning, and my ass can actually drag itself outside and see it :D
