For purposes of day dreaming about future releases may I please have a copy of the myth generator shown off at GDC? I won't be offended if you say no, if I must wait I will.

I would like your advice on what is the longest amount of time a world on all medium settings can be aged before when saving in adventure mode it crashes constantly due to windows closing it early before it can save all it needs to? Basically how old can I make a world before it takes too long to save in adventure mode?

Based on passed update release times how long is the interval between releases usually? I'm not asking for the release date of the next update I am just looking for an interval based on empirical data.

DF Suggestions / Slowly manifesting curses.

Once curses get changed it will be interesting to see curses that don't seem do much at first but slowly turn the person into a monster. Like small patches of scales spreading through out the body.

Any ideas on what Dwarf Fortress feature will be discussed at GDC 2017? Last year it was the myth generator. I personally wouldn't mind seeing more information on the myth generator.

DF Gameplay Questions / Can you age the world post creation?

Can you age the world after you have finished creating it and played a bit in it? Like can you let the world simulate for a few years like when it was first being generated?

While playing adventure mode do civilizations continue to build new buildings in sites? Like could they construct them while the adventuring player is present?

DF Suggestions / Interface for viewing corruptions.

Once the myth and magic update is released magic wielders will have to worry about corruptions. A way to view the progress of these side effects of using magic would be very useful for wizards. Whether they are measured in meters or for a more immersion friendly way, just listing any oddities the magic user has acquired whether they be physical or mental.

DF Suggestions / Multi Caster Rituals.

If a magic wielding player can convince some mafic wielding NPCs can they join forces and cast a combined spell together? This would be something along the lines of rituals to revive gods or summoning destruction so great it could wipe out entire nations. The ritual of course would most likely kill/corrupt all the spell casters involved though.

So, in fortress mode when a dwarf makes an artifact it is of very high quality, will artifacts generated in the artifact update also be of high quality? Also will holy artifacts me made out of divine materials similar to what angels use?

DF Suggestions / Artifacts that cause corruption.

We know in the artifact update artifacts will have cool powers, but what about the costs of using those powers? For instance if you have a sword the decays what it hits, possessing it for two long could wither the user. Or maybe an artifact that inflicts a curse similar to vampirism or werebeastism. This would make artifacts more dangerous to use and thus more FUN and interesting when you take one with you on your adventures. :P

So, once natural skills are added to adventure mode the player can hold any job they want, would this include being a priest? Would there be special rights and ceremonies that come with the job? Could be a fun job to try out as an adventurer.

Ok, it was stated in the development page that a person could bring back dead gods correct? Could a person cause the force created by the myth generator to enter the world? Exposure effects to those who come in contact with the force could vary from corruption to beneficial effects to death. What do you think of this suggestion?

DF Suggestions / Gods and Forces being able to grant powers.

So in the myth generator there are gods and forces that can be generated correct? It would be interesting for both of these be able to grant some sort of bonus for becoming in tune with them, whether these be passive effects or active magic spells. These effects could be created on myth generation when the entities are first created. For instance if a priest becomes really in tune with a god the god could grant him some magic powers. Or if some wizard studied a force he could learn to harness it's power in the for of magic spells. These kinds of things would only occur on high fantasy settings of course.

Tell me what you think of this suggestion.
