It's great. Can't find anything that need improvement. The health/stamina/magic bars are awesome, I really like style.

Hmm... I think I liked the old one better. :P I know I'm being contrary, but it's hard to tell that the "spells" and "learned" words are associated, and the underlines on "current" and "Learned" are distracting (especially the curl by "current" that looks like a letter "r"). Also distracting is the "t" in "CURRENt" being lowercase. The "T" in "INVENTORy" is capitalized, but then that leads me to noticing the now-distracting lowercase "y" in that word (move the bottom pixel to fix that one).

The first one is beautiful O.o. I have no idea how things like that are made.
The second one made me laugh a bit at the end.

And here's a quick doodle I did of my favorite character from don't starve (which is not the thing I mentioned working on earlier):

Maybe try putting "CURRENt" underneath "LEARNED" and both of them underneath "SPELLS"?

AHA, now i finally have an answer as to why i always draw things in a 3/4th view instead of a direct front view!

Spoiler: crazyeyes go (click to show/hide)

that's why

Profile (AKA side) view is a lot easier than front view, but comes with the disadvantage of obscuring half the face for the viewer, which isn't nice for a style like mine that depends heavily on expression. Therefore, 3/4th view. :v (another reason being that constantly changing between front and profile in comics looks very stiff)

Do that. Why not just have Current spells & Learned Spells? Or like, active spells and spellbook? or memorized spells and spellbook? etc.

I swear I feel the same way sometimes. Personally, I think it has to do with the design of the character. If it's a character with a long snout, it's difficult to make them look good while facing the viewer because you need so much foreshortening. The opposite goes for humanoid faces...It's a lot easier to make them face the viewer, like Urist McScoopbeard's avatar up there.

Oh man, it's always the foreshortening, isn't it? :v
But yeah, human faces are a LOT easier to draw frontally than "long snout" faces (even though i rarely draw actual human faces). I still find 3/4th view to be more comfortable though, partly out of habit, and partly because i don't like being soul stared by my own drawings. :P (the front view up there being a surprisingly mild case of soul stare)
