Alright. Am I basically free to do anything ? I guess so. I'll try today.
EDIT : Loaded the save.
What the hell. This is flat dwarf fortress !! I have no idea what I can and can't do. Brings back memories.
Ohhw, the old UI was s***** !!
You can't resize the window.
'+' and '-' don't work in menus.
'u' shows you aaaaall the units (dead, dorfs, animals, ...)
I hope I won't screw up everything. But...

THIS FORTRESS MUST NOT DIE
How did you come up with the name Bay12?Aliens
OP link is broken because it directs to the old file depot, but you should be able to find it searching the new one.
In Firefox, hit Ctrl+J, left-click "df_43_05_win.zip," F, left-click "df_43_05_win," WinZip, Unzip to..., "Error(2): The system cannot find the file specified. ..."
I'm thinking of a game kind of like Munchkin where you build your fort from cards and funny and tragic events occur every turn.Betrayal at House on the Hill might be a good game to get inspiration from. Instead of exploring a haunted house, you'd be building a fort, and the "haunts" would be events like invasions, mega/forgotten beast attacks, candy, etc.
