I'm a fan of Modest Mouse's King Rat. The video does get a little disturbing.

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
It makes me tear up every time I listen to it. Amazing.

Edit: The whole album is brilliant, but this song is over thirty minutes in so I figured it best to link it alone lest you get distracted before the best part.

I discovered filk like 3 months ago and I am in love with pretty much every song I've heard in the genre.

How about The Chemical Worker's Song? It's not, strictly speaking, filk, but it's folk and close enough in spirit.

Ooh! Did you know that Leslie Fish is also a vehement anarchist? Her album "Firestorm: Songs of the Third World War" isn't all exactly filk, but it's still in that style and pretty great. For example:
Bring It Down
Black Powder and Alcohol

Speaking of Leslie Fish, has anybody ever heard The Engineer's Hymn anywhere? I've found the lyrics, but I can't find a record anywhere for some reason.
