You make it back to your destination after an hour and find yourself thirsty. As you approach the stinky corpses you see a buggy in the distance getting closer to your general direction.

You stand in place flabbergasted and don't make any attempts to hide. The buggy drives past your position without nobody noticing you but another one is coming.

"Huh..."

You wake up five hours later not feeling quite rested still but the acid sensation you had in your stomach has diminished. You're still hungry though.

You find a grimy, pocket notebook in the ruins and it reveals some useful information. Located further up north at a couple days travel you can find a populated castle. There is also a warning about a dangerous tree bearing psychoactive fruits of pernicious effects on the forest close by. Uh-oh!
