Malkor had been walking in silence, listening to his erstwhile companions. It was time to introduce himself. "Name's Malkor, priest for the Church of Pelor. I've been assigned by my church to watch the meeting between the High Priest and the ambassador."
(http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=143968.0)"I'm merely on my way to learn more of your culture. You see, I am... not from around here."
Chuckling at the antics of his traveling companions, Mic has been quiet for the last few minutes.
When the riders come into sight, he slips away from crowd, and goes around the back of the tavern, entering through the back door. From there, he sneaks up stairs and looks for the ambassador's room.
Walking towards the wizard Lanius sighs "Can we leave? Nothing is... Um... Happening. Priest is here so we can leave?"(http://s28.postimg.org/4dkqywuuh/wizardtalk.gif)"I have come here for a reason. I will stay until I can finish my ends here."
"What is task? I will um... Eh... Help? Yes, help!"(http://s28.postimg.org/4dkqywuuh/wizardtalk.gif)"I am sorry, but I must do this myself."
Scan the other people who were traveling with me and the High Priest and his escort with detect evil anyways. My previous PM still applies.
"Well if help is needed just find me. I will be looking for a place to smith."One of the villagers offers to show you to his forge, just up the hill on the east side. It's a poky little place, but there's some farm equipment that needs repairing, and the villager seems grateful for the help.
Look for a blacksmith that will allow me to make items. Try to work there for a while for cash.
"You were involved in some sort of commotion earlier with the ambassador, weren't you? What was that about. And what do you think of "Father Eogen"?"(http://s28.postimg.org/4dkqywuuh/wizardtalk.gif)"Yes, something rather embarrassing. And as for the 'Father', I'm not sure that it's the High Priest if he had to use Plane Shift to get here."
Repair the Equipment to the best of my ability. You start working. The villager promises to pay you for whatever you repair, before running back down the hill, presumably to see more of the exchange between the other strangers and the High Priest's fellow.
Do I see anything worth swiping? There's nothing that stands out. These guys are dirt poor, so even the otherwise worthless tools you're using are considered valuable.
Malkor tries to witness the meeting between the high priest and the ambassadorA few of the peasants had the same idea, but you're quickly ushered back by the dwarven guards.
Use MY tools to fix whatever's around that I can possibly fix.
(http://s28.postimg.org/4dkqywuuh/wizardtalk.gif)"I don't have anything on me at the moment to see if the horse is... off, as one would say, nor do I have magic defense for you. If you wish for me to come with you, I can provide backup and provide defenses against physical attacks. Is that good?"
Sorry. Yeah. You're working on it, but it's going to take a while to get anything worthwhile done.Use MY tools to fix whatever's around that I can possibly fix.
Razed goes over to the guards, elf in tow, and requests to see the High Priest. The dwarven guards examine you closely. One of them steps forward and says, "Nope. When he's done speaking to the ambassador, you can chat to him. But not before."

Wyrne murmurs"Well, yes, there is money, but we can't turn it into money here! This town is way too poor and small to be able to pawn it off. But if we strip the gold off, and sell the mace at a real town, we can make money off it. You in?"
'You see a gold mace? What I see is money waiting to be collected.'
He thinks for a moment.
'I also see a lack of people.'
"Is a good tool." Lanius said as he Continued to do that. It's starting to look more like a plough and less like a chunk of twisted rusty metal now. Not quite done, though.
Razed waits patiently. You don't have to wait long. The High Priest writes some kind of letter on a sheet of parchment, and gives it to the ambassador, who bows deeply.
@@I am Razed, Paladin of the ... warning you of a potential danger.@@After you finish talking, the High Priest looks at you silently for a time. He glances here and there, furrows his brow... as though he's trying to figure out exactly what to say.
Malkor decides to stop waiting around and tend to any sickness among the villagers. You ask around for anyone who is sick or injured. But as far as you can tell, everyone here is healthy and strong.
Investigate the blacksmith and market to see what I have to work with. The village is too small to have a market. You climb the hill to the blacksmith, and take a look around. Apart from some worn tools, old farming equipment, and deteriorating furniture, the shop is pretty much empty.
"Zehr gut." Lanius said to himself as he stood from his work and walked out the door, perhaps crossing paths with a Paladin on the way, to go search for the others he had met earlier. Perhaps they'd have a task to accomplish. You head down to the centre of the village, just in time to see two thieves in action.
Melt into the shadows. Hide, get out of town for a bit, wait until they stop suspecting stuff. Maybe signal Mic to come meet me. I'm sure he can make an excuse. You make your way to the edge of the woods on the south side of the village. (hide roll 13+5) It doesn't look like anyone has spotted you. The trees are not dense, but there's enough foliage here to keep yourself concealed.
This place is pathetic. Its only importance is geographic. You return to the tavern and start asking around for details. (gather information roll 20+2)
Razed heads back to the area outside of the tavern.
The elf and possibly one or two of the others might be useful. Nothing else here really is.
Remember locations in the nearby countryside. If memory fails, accost random peasant with questions to find out.
"Hm... Is not my job." Lanius says with a small frown "But may be reward. Is bored anyways."With some thought, Lanius decides that Wyrne is his ally, and not to attack him. Unfortunately, after that moment of indecision, Wyrne has completely vanished! (spot roll 11-7)
Throw Light Hammer at nearest thief in an attempt to knock him out.
Unless, of course, they are my allies. In which case, don't do that.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'll be here all day!"The tavern is still closed, seeing as the tavern keeper has not yet returned.
See if the tavern is open. If so, see if I can setup in the corner and preform.
Veneficus curses under his breath. He had missed his chance to do what he intended. He'd have to wait until he could speak with the priest. With the priest's face quite clearly showing, you stop waiting and head over to him.
Wait until the High Priest shows his face.
((....I'm actually at a loss for what Malkor should be doing. I can't seem to find any of these plot threads you were speaking of))I realise my updates have been a little light on the information. I'll try to be more helpful.
"When we leave?"
]'What's this hero talk? There's not been heroes around for about a hundred years! Well, no proper ones, at least. We've had hero-wannabes who've gotten eaten by a pile of goop or a cyclops or...'
"High Priest? A word, please. Privately."[/color]He nods politely, glances around once more, and leads you inside the tavern without saying a word.
Find a handful of ablebodied villagers, and ask them "Do you want to lead the life of excitement and riches you deserve, friend?"(bluff rolls 2+7, 11+7, 9+7, 10+7, 18+7)
If they seem okay with comitting crime, (Sense Motive check) give them directions to Voltarus's camp.
