Short version: loads of new trees/plants with expanded uses, new crafting possibilities, alchemy (built on other mods), some changes to smelting, more different real life animals (and some fantasy critters), new civs with most playable, most spheres have their own secrets (so, sort of much more magic stuff), potions from creature body parts (including procgen beasties - stole the idea from Adventurecraft)... So, basically a bloated amount of content using bits & pieces from other folk's mods and mangling them beyond recognition (and probably lots of new bugs & broken reactions!). Plus a couple of surprise things...

It technically should be playable already. Just want to add and fix a few things.
Sounds exciting, I was working on something similar to that but less involved at one point but other stuff came up and I never got very far.

Hey, hows Waterlures going? If you need someone to pick it up. I can do so.

Hey, hows Waterlures going? If you need someone to pick it up. I can do so.

Been a bit quiet since I've been spending the last weeks working on mod stuff.

I can put up the save tomorrow since it's at a position* where a smaller adventurer turn could be taken if you want one.

* (Or mostly at such a position. I'll just have to do a couple adventurer retiring things first so that Suwu's group (hopefully) doesn't get too scattered.)

@AvolitionBrit, here's the save!

https://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=16324

If you have DFHack, put 'set-timeskip-duration -ticks 0' before starting the game. This way we'll avoid the unnecessary progress of time.

Try to keep the turn relatively short in the amount of time that passes in the world (maybe 2 weeks, 1 month max in-game time?), if possible.

Sure, will keep it to a month. Already brewing up some ideas. Just gonna dig through legends and see if any other details catch my eye.

Dear Ingish

I hope this letter meets you well, you and your new associates have been brought together to do a few jobs for me. By now the five of you should be in Beardbank and you will begin your time sensitive mission. Recently some of my associates have been killed and thus left me unable to keep tabs on everything anymore. I have lived a long time and i know you want that too. You and your new companions will get everything you wanted and more. Each of you has a mission to complete and once it is done you will be rewarded well.

As a gesture of goodwill, i will tell you what you and Kosoth need to know to get your immortality and his secrets. There are seven necromancer slabs in this word, each teaching its own secrets to bringing back the dead. There is a tower nearby that has one however due to your current non undead status the five of you walking in there will reach almost certain doom. There is a cave within the east of The Abysmal Mountain which is rumored to contain one such slab stolen years ago.

I hope this reassures you of our promise. In reture i want you to bring that slab to me for security and additionally if you find any others please feel free to secure them and i can see what else i can do for you.

Your missions

Ingush, you are to escort your sixth companion towards Waterlures. He is to arrive alive. Immortality is yours.

Kosoth, you are to bring my Pan Viperclan, alive by any means. The knowledge given is your payment.

Zulban, you are to help identify Pan Viperclan and as promised you are allowed to live in Waterlures to live out your peaceful life no strings attached.

Usmok, you are to carry the slab and deliver it to me. Do so and i promise to make you unstoppable, unbreakable and unrelenting

Tin, take care of Queen Monom. Ensure your venom flows through her veins and that everyone thinks you are from The Hell of Miseries and then you will be allowed to

and lastly Rovod, you are to bring me a drink, there is a goblin who thinks he is hidden safely amongst Fordjugglers. Use your charm to lure him out and bring me a drink of him and you can be assure that your gambling debt will be cleared and to sweeten the deal. I am sure we will find you a royal position somewhere within The Fence of Amusement.

I wish you all good luck on your mission.

Kosoth Report

Slab recovery was successful, Ingush went in by himself and recovered the slab and three artifacts. Good thing too some of us don't fit well in the kobold tunnels. Would be a squeeze for Usmok for sure. Ingush had already read the slab as he was mortally wounded, turns out those pesky creatures trapped the place. Shot in the gut by an arrow

and then stabbed in the lung.

He has been wheezing and coughing ever since. But he will live for now. Turns out there was an entire treasure trove of gems, crafts and riches down there.

We even have a totem

and a spike to show for the trouble.

The boss will be most pleased.

My thoughts so far on this team.

Ingush, was very determined to become immortal. Throwing himself at danger just to ensure it. Suggests to me that he feared his short lifespan. Could be a good way to keep him in check. He still doesn't know the king has secretly put me in change.

Zulban, for a mountain gnome he is utterly pathetic but a brilliant mind, certainly a useful thinker for sure. I can see why the king is fond of the little guy, seems he has an interest in knowledge but for what im sure. Needless to say, as long as he keeps his head down and mouth shut. He will make it to waterlures, the king said its not a well guarded place, even weaker currently. Not to mention the baron is a good friend of the king and will pardon us for any "accidents" that occur if the residents catch on.

Usmok, she is surely a powerful mercenary, her fighting whilst lackluster is entirely made up by her unparrelled natural strength, with the right training and some helpful blood she would be an unrelenting beast. I see why, the king has interest in her.

Tin, is a means to an end. Her vendetta with General Bridgetone is the perfect setup to get her to the kill the Queen. Any other nobles that get bitten will just further add to our success.

Lastly Rovod, a charmer for sure, he is here to smooth things over, he has a way with words and just knows what to say to the right person, especially to a paranoid goblin vampire who is a high master in geography.

As for myself, i am well. The knowledge i have learned will make my interrogations far more insightful.

A monitor lizard man, a mountain gnome, a black mamba woman, a dwarf and a crow man... A curious bunch, indeed.

Checked and haven't changed anything related to blood and vampire curses are generated.

I think this has been a issue that drinking plain vampire blood doesn't work? So, you'd have to add vamp blood to water so that it's laced with vampire blood (from what I can gather with a quick googling). Or then the effects aren't immediate? (Don't really know since I never go the vampire route...)
