What happens if you try and civilize the elves or Dwarves to humanities society?

We tried that with the dwarves one time. They constantly got into feuds with our subjects, pissed them off, refused to pay tax and were generally unpleasant to deal with.

We only pushed that for like 2-3 years, not decades. THey'd eventually turn around once we get to a few decades or maybe generations of Dwarves or elves.

The issue is if we try, it could have serious backfire potential. Afaik the dwarven kingdoms that exist around us now and constantly vex us were made from the dwarves we invited to live in our lands in the first game. When those lands were fragmented when the games ended they stole a bunch of land and enslaved a bunch of humans and made their kingdoms.

If we spread the dwarven population even further we run the risk of a series of bad rolls ending the game and then EVEN MORE dwarven kingdoms popping up to fuck with us in future games.
