Here's an awesome forum game I got from Rickvoid!
Goal - Be clothed and not dead. Then win.
Win - Be last one alive.
The rules are simple:
1. Post ONE action.
2. I will roll my six sided die and tell you what the outcome is.
3. If by some devine fate there is something hurtling toward you, you are given one free roll to dodge the object.
4. Once you obtain heavy bleeding every turn you have with that token you will get 1 roll to see if it kills you or not.
Here is how the die rolls work out:
1- Epic failure. You actually take the exact opposite action.
2- Failure.
3- Marginal success.
4- Success.
5- Perfect success.
6- Overshot. You complete your task with to much force and cause other results along with your intended.
Example:
Starting post: You wake up on an enormous bed. There are several other people here. Your mind is hazy, and you can't remember anything about the last few days. You are extremely thirsty. You notice a single glass on a table at the far end of the room. You are unable to discern it's contents.
Player1: I crawl out of bed.
Me: Roll[2]. You flop around a little, groping several other people on the bed.
Player2: UGH! Get you hands off me! I kick Player1 in the face.
Me: Roll[6]. You seem to levitate over the bed for a few seconds, then shoot straight up towards the ceiling. You execute a perfect flip, your toes just brushing the roof, and snap one leg forward in time to connect with Player1's face. The force of your kick makes the bed explode. People go flying all over the room.
Roll to Dodge[5] for Player1. You dive perfectly out of the way of the bed pieces.
Roll to Dodge[1] for Player2. You dive straight into the path of the fly bed peices, you are impaled.
Got it?
Remember you can do almost anything, Also remember you have a 50% chance of doing it wrong. Also, if you attempt to take an action without an intermediate action (example, you try to wear a shirt you are not carrying) the action auto-fails. I may bend the rules to some posts, If you try to throw a grenade it requires the pulling of a pin I may count that as one action. You can't take the same action twice in a row, and only the first action you submit before I post the results of every bodies actions will be resolved.
Here's the starting post:
You wake up in a very cold room, you look across the room. You see nine other people (there is a player limit of 10) in the room shackled to the wall, you quickly discover you too are shackled to this cement wall. The shackles are made of metal and allow you some movement. Now with your bearings you see there is a wooden ladder in the middle of the room leading up to a large net hanging from the ceiling filled with clothes. You feel hungry and very cold.

Just some quick advice:
- Drop the cold, hungry, tired, thirsty stuff. I found that it's hard to keep track of, and you'll have a lot of other stuff going on anyway.
- As for the clothing, make what it looks like dependent on their roll. For example, a roll of three (Partial Sucess) should either get them a shirt, or a pair of pants, or both (but a size or two too large or small), or both but dirty or shredded. A four (Success) should provide the player with fairly bland clothes, but of proper size and quantity. On a five (Perfect Success) give out something cool. Mechanical bonuses from clothes can be nice, just make sure your players never end up with more that a +/- 2 to their roll, otherwise they either die too quickly, or succeed at everything, or cause massive destruction. A six (Overshot) could cause a destruction of the clothes pile, or fling clothes around the room, or other such things.
- Going back to mechanical bonuses, you can do more with them than just adding amounts to rolls. After someone else took over the game, I had a guy who could change what he was resistant to at will. We had one guy who could channel lightning, and another fire. Just don't be afraid to take these away if the rolls call for it.
- If you are planning on killing players (inevitable, really) you ought to figure out some rules for ghosts. In my game, I tried to make them ethereal, meaning that they couldn't pick up anything material, but couldn't be harmed by that stuff either. Elemental stuff (fire, lightning, etc) could still harm them, as could anything spiritual in nature (like the sword of an Archangel, for example). Ghosts could also possess other players, or objects, things like that. Something to keep your players around even if they are dead.
- I'd say something here about the number of players, but it looks like you've already got that. You might want to post a list of all the players, their items, and intrinsic abilities at the end of each round. It helps them keep track, and it really helps you keep track.
That's really all I have for now. Players, remember that the crazier the idea seems, the better this game will be for everyone. FIRST TURN!

(1) You gnaw your arms to the bone!, you are now bleeding heavily and in pain. You might want to get that looked at..
I gnaw on the chains in an attempt to free myself.
(5) You gnaw them just enough to free yourself. You didnt even hurt your teeth or cause pain!
I attempt to break the shackles off of the wall.
(5) With a mighty pull you pull the shackles right out of the wall. They are still chained to you though. (possible weapon)
I attempt to reach apotheosis, godhood.
(4) You spend a while and finally make it. Though not perfect you have enough godness in you to control all objects. (+1 to dodge)
I attempt to vomit live kittens onto dwarfaholic
(5) Even with the distance between you, you manage to send the live kitten flying towards Dwarfaholic.
(2-1+1=2) Dodge of Dwarfaholic. You just sit there. The kitten hits you in the chest you are winded and broke some ribs you are in pain. The kitten is alive and pissed off!
I try to squeeze my hands through the shackles.
(6) With a quick burst of strength you give up on squeezing and pull them straigth out pulling the flesh off your hands. Though they still work because I say so. Your hands are in extreme pain and will have a hard time grabbing things.. On the bright side your free of shackles.

(3) Using your strength you rip the shackles off the wall, but with your bad luck when you do so the shackles swing around your arms and fly towards you. (5-1= 4) You easily just move out of the way and sustain no damage! The shackles are hanging from your arms. (possible weapon).

(1) You convice the shackles they are the shackles from hell. Thought this means fuck all because they are just shackles.. but because of epic fail for some reason they become tighter, causing you pain.

(3) You spit pure acid onto the shackles melting them and your left arm.. Though becasue your arm was melted there is no bleeding or pain, your just missing a arm.. Nice work.

I meditate on the n-dimensions that make up the universe, trying to comprehend concept that would drive lesser men mad, attempting to conceptualize the link between the one and the whole, how the world is me and I am the world, the ultimate realization of consciousness and enlightenment, gaining the ability to control the <energymatterdimension>strings that make up my body and my surroundings.
In other words, I try to become one with the universe so I can manipulate matter, energy and dimensions at will. Sort of like Dwarfaholic's apotheosis gambit, except way more mystical-sounding and sci-fi like.

Yea its a great distraction.. Man your gona be making alot of pissed of kittens in this game haha should be fun. Thats what we get for dropping, drowning, burning, and butchering them in dwarf fortress.

Well you didn't spawn them you vomited them from thin air.. they are just generally pissed off, in other words they will but only with as much chance as everyone else.
To boski well your last action didn't eqaul much, since you were convincing something that didnt have a mind. This one could have some awesome results.

(5) Somehow you cause enough friction and melt them.. You dont even get any brain damage or get your hair caught. You are free.

(6) Dodge of Kitten. The cat jumps out of the way of your chains with amazing force throwing itself across the room and hitting a wall. The kitten is extremely pissed at Gaulgath.

(6) Dodge of Rickvoid. You do some awesome kung-fu and land perfectly but in this move you kick the ladder across the room making it explode. Peices of ladder hurtle towards everyone.

(2) Dodge of Rickvoid. You cant get off your back and get filled with splinters. You are in exteme pain. You might want to pull them out.
(4) Dodge of Gaulgath. You drop to the ground and avoid all damage.
(1+1-1=1) Dodge of Dwarfaholic. You open your eyes real wide and catch the splinters with them. You are blind (-1 Moving) but the rest of you was unharmed.
(4) Dodge of Mulch Diggums. You dive out of the way of a large peice of wood. You were not impailed.
(1) Dodge of Tokay. You jump into the path of the large peice of wood Mulch dodged. You were impailed. You are bleeding heavily and in pain.
(5) Dodge of Silu. You go matrix style and dodge everything flying towards you. You didnt even get a single splinter.
(6+1-1=6) Dodge of Boksi. You warp out of the way so fast and being inexperience you land half in the wall. You are no longer chained you are stuck in a wall (-1 to dodge).
(1) Dodge of Tuv. You do jumping jacks as the peices of wood fly by, you get impailed.. Heavy bleeding and pain.
(3) Dodge of Asheron. You drop to the ground and land on your right arm it is broken.
(5) Dodge of Kitten. The kitten goes matrix style and dodges the little peices of woods.
(4) Dodge of Mulch's Kitten. The kitten hides behind Mulch.

Even if I can't, I like this game. With the RNG taken to its extreme, even the most natural and harmless action can cause death to everyone in the vicinity. I mean like how in the thread Rickvoid linked to, someone tried to open a door, killing four players in the process. Also, maybe rename the thread "Roll To Dodge: A Crazy Forum Game", because RTD is the actual name of the game..?
Also also, how actually hard it is to run something like this? I have a perfectly unused setting to throw some people into...

No you cant join sorry there is a player cap for a reason. Im not spending more then a hour per turn on this game. Its not hard at all to run its actually fun.
That exploding ladder is going to kill three people if they dont come up with a way to take away their heavy bleeding..

3-6 will but 2 or 1 wont. The heavy bleeding roll goes last in your turn so you have a chance to save yourself.

(4) You cut a hole in the wall . The large slab of rock that was the wall falls(make clothes outa this lmao) down exposing a hole that leads to another room. The hole pours out very cold fog. Someone should examine the room or something..

This will hopefully come out in the form of obsidian black and metallic dark grey armor with crimson red highlights and an even darker red cape, as well as fire enchantments.
EDIT: And until further notice, I believe Tuv's ghost is made of spirit energy and therefore falls under my abilities, correct? That should make me further able to resist possession... I hope. Of course, It means nothing if I roll a 1.

and Yu-Gi-Oh Yuggoth Spawn of C'thulu is a character in an episode of the joyously dirty series by Dave, Retarded Animal Babies (incredibly horribly utterly mature, I don't think there IS an age that you can legally watch it) but regardless is funny... from episode 20 or Episode 5. Major plot spoilers about so watch em in order if you are gonna... Regardless he travels through time and is the spawn of C'thulu so is preety damned powerful.

That glowing thingy you got going is supposed to be your soul spirit w/e. You only managed to pull that out. Your going to bind that with you the suit when you put it on, so for your next action wear the suit, oh btw your still holding it I forgot to add that. Once your wearing the suit bind it to yourself and depending on the roll you will get some kinda power. Though I dont think you need much more haha.
To answer your question, destroy your suit without unbinding and your outa the game, Because you will have destroyed your soul.

TURN THIRTEEN! someone win already.. on and on a plus side I won 1/4 fights lol, good for my first comp, competive is much harder then training at the dojo, My first win was a reversal, the second fight I fought this shorter and heavier guy who def used his size to his advantage, I couldnt get my dam arm onto his back, lil porker. Third fight was kasperov the russian who had a ex secret police sensi.. last fight was amazingly bad reffing and gave my fight away, haha my sensi was pisseed! (4) In a fit of zombie rage you dive at Mulch's head trying to bite a peice out of it..
(3) Dodge for Mulchs head. You ear is bitten off, you gain Heavy Bleeding.

The rolls are Mulchs attack (4+2=6) and Boksi's Dodge (1+1=2) So since this is awesome for writing bout ima do a small story to end the game..
"GAME ENDING PARAGRAPH"
In a deep martial trance casued by his will to survive, Mulch feeds off of the Blades of Chaos for strength. Mulch gripping the blades in hand runs at Boksi full out, a few meters before reaching him Mulch leaps into the air in a spinning action. Mulch flys over Boksi's head and releases the Blades of Chaos into a fury of tight chains. His arms are bleeding from the tension of the chains that attach to his blades. Boksi quickly tries to warp himself out of the way. The Blades of Chaos are spinning too fast and cut him deep in the chest several times. Boksi warps away, Mulch lands and catchs one Blade in his hand, In his other hand he catchs a chain. A few seconds later Boksi emerges from his warp he drops to his knees and coughs up blood. Sitting in his neck is a Blade of Chaos only stopped by the skin. Boksi falls to the ground landing on his stomach, a puddle of blood surrounds Boksi as he lays lifeless on the floor. Mulch is the last standing..
MULCH WINS!!
Basically this was the most epic turn yet.. We had someones soul be replaced giving a human form to another soul.. Someone destroyed their own soul to destroy the soul of another who just gained the human form. Also the end was epic casue of the rolls. Great game guys!
