Well, right time right place and all.

I guess I'm leaning towards Space Opera.

I might be interested in that space opera thingy.

It really boils down to how much free time I will have and how/where it will be play(tested).

Also, kinda welcome back after one and half year of posting absence, Josephus!

Like, here dude. Play by Post, means I'll be running it on Bay12.

Never had much appetite for Skype or IRC games, honestly.

Also, kinda thanks for the welcome. You can leave Bay12, but Bay12 never leaves you.

Space Opera sounds fun. I think I'll join.

Heck if coming back after a leave of absence doesn't seem to suit me just fine right now. I'm perfectly game, and the grand ole space opry sounds fun as well, if there's space for me.

That's four people, sounds about right. I guess I'll hold out for maybe one more and start the game thread in a few hours or so.

Woo, Space Opry!

Right then, that's five. Give me a bit to throw the thread together and I'll link it here.

I don't think you needed a whole separate thread just to check for interest, you know.

It really depends. Some fora do interest checks/game recruitment and games proper in separate threads, and I got used to doing it that way. It occurs to me that it works differently here though.

I'm not honestly up to what the normalities are nowadays here, but a thread slowly sinking down into the depths of the forum really doesn't hurt anything thing, depending on if the trouble of ooc/ic differentiated threads would be worth it (and I generally towards them not, but that's just my hazy remembrances of never ever having finished a forum game)

Well, the last game I ran here (a couple years ago) used only a single thread as well. Must be the norm on here.

EDIT: OP edited with rules and character creation relevant information.

I'm fine with whatever delay is needed. We'll probably sink to whatever update schedule is needed as we go on, in any case.

((Oh crud, I didn't see your reply and thus didn't realise I was in this! D: Will edit in a sheet in a sec...
Edit: There we go. Hot damn, I am looking foward to playing this guy. :) Hopefully this game's still on.))

Name: Kalann Froeg
Description: A lean figure usually swathed in a dark green cloak, with a deep hood and a (slightly shabby) orange trim, Kalann is in fact a wiry middle-aged fellow with wary-looking beady eyes and a little tuft of beard that he likes to stroke whilst thinking. His hair is greyed and his face prematurely lined by his traumatic lifestyle, questing across space in search of facts, truth and knowledge, primarily about alien civilizations, a subject he has long had a dangerous fascination with.
He is headed to Judecca Sec to research its pre-human inhabitants, and while he is first-and-foremost a thinking man, over the course of his adventures he has by necessity learnt his way around a firearm. Both to defend himself from the ignorant, and to, -again, by necessity- occasionally procure funds for his expeditions...
