Napoleon was right all along I'm afraid, the british sneakiness is without limit. I highly suspect you came with the expression "dressed to kill" just to troll us french and it's very petty (yet creative).

 You want to translate that by "dressé pour tuer" which is a french expression ("trained to kill", to describe aggressive guard dogs) But then you remember "dress" means something different in english, and you come to the conclusion it means getting dressed to get a dirty job done. But then the english played you all along because it means the absolute opposite. Damn you english and your language, we should have colonized the world instead
