But the vid was uploaded yesterday. Only an organised force could respond so quickly.

Also, what are they doing at Otakon anyway? MLP isn't even japanese.

An organized force of haters are still haters and thus will hate. Ignore them.

Anywho it looks like just a random meet up of people who went to Otakon. It's not like they went there specifically for ponies.

The motivation is "I made an MLP costume and now I'm going to wear it everywhere I can find an excuse", I believe.

And really, it's not like nobody at Otakon would -get- it.  People there are more likely to understand what's going on than at, say, ComicCon itself.

Because western cartoons and whatever that Japan thing is go hand in hand, right?

And besides, I'd wager the ComicCon people would mostly get it. After all, ComicCon has a lot of non-comic stuff now, especially cartoons.  Hell, even Faust ran a MLP stand one time.
