Title: Psycho-Maniacs on the loose! -Gimme a guard, I'll give you a turn!
Post by: SaberToothTiger on July 13, 2014, 12:34:40 am
Because I don't think there is a similar thread on this forum, I present you the Mafia-like game, that is "Psycho-Maniacs on the loose!".

There are multiple killers and multiple guards, but the guards will have an advantage.
I will use a d100 in this game, higher the better, and so on. 1 is CRIT FAIL, 100 is CRIT WIN. Crits fails hurt badly. Crit wins hurt the loser VERY BADLY.
The most basic explanation for this games mechanic is this:
Someone is a killer. He kills NPCs. He sends me his actions via PM. There are also guards trying to stop him. Faster they catch him, the better rewards they get. The better the guards equipment is, the better the killer is.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no hitpoints in this game. This is supposed to be realistic, so no character walking around with multiple gunshot wounds in his forehead. Damage will be counted medically, so various arteries and organ wounds tend to be more dangerous than a cut on your hand.
Example fight:
Quote
[Turn 1] Killer stabs a mook in the back! The mook doesn't expect a fight, and doesn't have Quick Reflexes, so this roll is not opposed.
Killer aims for the victim's kidneys with a 20 cm knife! Due to Mook's ineptitude to not bleed to death, he is bleeding! He shouts out in pain! Others in the neighborhood are alarmed!
[Turn 2] Killer slashes victim in the neck! Killer's [47] vs Mook's [4]
An artery is cut! Killer runs!
Due to bleeding out and not receiving medical attention, Mook dies. Killer runs [1](CRIT FAIL) and trips. His knife is now stuck in his chest. No important organs are damaged.
An angry mob catches up to him! Mobs' [97] vs. Killer's [57] They literally rip the killer to shreds!

Since I do not have much experience in GMing, most issues will be answered ingame. The rating of a killer rises with the amounts of his kills.
Do not get attached to your characters, due to the nature of this game, you WILL lose your characters and there is nothing you can do about it.
Guards post their actions here, and killers PM me theirs. Killers, please keep my rolls send to you, after the setting is finished, I will post them.

Character Sheet:
There has to be an equal amount of virtues and drawbacks.

Oh, and please roleplay your characters. An Average Joe doesn't know how to assemble a car bomb, but an assassin with 20 years of experience does.

Okay, let us be off! Varee, PM me your actions, and NRDL, post them here!

It is 11:00 PM

NRDL:

[42] You are stationed next to an inn. After 2 hours of calming down drunken citizens, you are irritated at your fate. Why you always get the worst shifts? Why do you have to listen to the commanders' orders?
Your thoughts are interrupted by a very loud shout... a shout of death.

Varee:
[100] You are held by rage. This bastard knew everything. He had to. And you were going to get it out. He knew that you will. He tried resisting, but after  a minutes of pure pleasure, he spits it out. The judge that ordered your imprisonment will go on a trip to Sklone, a city that was around 10 hours ride from Trobin, the town you are currently in. You also found out when will the trip start, who will be assisting him, what will he look like. You found that along the uniform of a guard, a fine dagger, purse of 174 coins (a lot), a deed for the horse from the king's stables and a note. You also take the bottle of The Golden Ambrosia, the best drink in town. You are ready to pursue that man.
The man who took away your freedom.

[84] You rush to the place you think you heard a shout. You see a mangled body, covered in blood and mud. You will have to hurry with your investigation, the rain is slowly removing all evidence. You notice the body is empty and seems to have an arrow or something sticking out of its' abdominal region.

Pick up the body and dash for cover.  I'll do a rough autopsy out of the rain.
Title: Re: Psycho-Maniacs on the loose! -Murderers Needed!
Post by: SaberToothTiger on July 13, 2014, 10:35:40 pm
NRDL:

[73]You quickly pick up the body and dash to the tavern. You kick down the door, thinking that stopping that bastard is more important than petty mannerism. You think you recognize the body; it was Fidel, a guard which used to gather information from all of the informants. You now also see that he was beaten and cut before being shot in the guts. He is buck naked and he doesn't have any of his equipment.

You have a bad feeling you will have to report the death to the commander.

Alev:
You hear screams from the tavern. You valiantly go in that direction. but without much haste. I mean, you would be faster if the Royal Medics moved their bums and started helping people, not the nobles. When you arrive at the tavern, you see that the door is locked. [96] You basically ram it off its hinges. You look around, and see your friend Jeremiah, crouching near someone.

"Richard, Fidel's dead, I think.  The fiend used an arrow, I need you to search for who made it, any way you can.  Go."

Give arrow to Richard, then report death to commander.
Title: Re: Psycho-Maniacs on the loose! -Murderers Needed!
Post by: Alev on July 13, 2014, 11:04:08 pm
Listen, go in the direction of any bad sounds I hear. Else, see which direction the arrow came from and go in that direction, asking anyone encountered about who they saw.
Title: Re: Psycho-Maniacs on the loose! -Murderers Needed!
Post by: SaberToothTiger on July 14, 2014, 04:17:36 am
NRDL:

You report the situation to Richard. You know the killer got away, and that you will be heavily scolded back at the station, but you also know that it will be worse if you don't get there.

[98] The commander takes it really well, considering the situation and his character:

"You screwed up, and you screwed up good. That did you find?"
"Sir, the victim was shot to death and tortured. He was found naked and without any of his equipment."
"Hmm, not good. Fidel that day was supposed to meet his informer. If that bastard knows it, we might as well close the shop, as we can't do shit without him. I'll assign someone to do the investigation, now move! Your task is to rescue our guy, but do it incognito! He should in the Odd Cow, sitting in the corner."

Alev:
[71] You listen, but can't hear anything. You instead ask around for information. Someone steps up and says that there was a weird guy walking around with a guard uniform in his hands.

NRDL:
[100] You run up to the tavern, afraid of missing the guy , but you arrive just in time to stop him.

You "arrest" him and drag him back to the station. When you get there, he says:
"Thanks mate, but I can handle myself just fine. By the way, why did Fidel not come? He's usually the guy who receives my report."

((You literally would not catch him without a crit, you know?))

Alev:
[89] The guy says that the killer ran down a street saying something about cows and taverns. You quickly deduce, that he went to the "Odd Cow", a tavern for the Middle-Lower class, serving week beers, barley bread and goat cheese.

Wwolin:
[41] Some dumb mook just questioned ya about some weird fella. Well, you wouldn't know nothin' bout that, wouldn't ya? You are a proud citizen, a proud bored citizen. All this people around, sad, cold. You knew just exactly what would cheer them up. Some good old fashioned fires. You see a noble walking around, smoking a pipe. He enters an alleyway, alone and secluded. You smiled at the possibilities.

No one else on the station agrees to be bait. Altough one said he would, if he would receive 25 gold. That's a lot of money. You don't have any cash on you anyway.

Alev:

[31-5] You waste some time due to your busted knee and see that the place is under lockdown. It seems it was set on fire. After brief questioning, you find out that there are witnesses that say it burned down because of an accident with some high-power alcohol and candles. "I know that you didn't even notice a goddamn fire next to your arse, ye dumb cunt!"
You also notice that no one seems to care about your questions, in fact, one of them says it might as well be you, who started the fire.
You laugh at him at honestly say you got nothing to do with it.
The Royal Guard is now the emergency commander. He drags you to a corner and says:

Name: Jack H. Art (AKA The Red Knave)

Age: 78 years old, 20 year old body

Backstory: Jack was human, before he died at the age of twenty. Years later he was brought back too life as a construct, now never aging and without emotion. At first he acted normally, becoming a jester for a rich baron, but soon he just snapped. He murdered the baron's family, servants, and guards, before disappearing into the city, with strings of grisly murders following him as he went. Soon he became a legend, at first a nameless one... but legends always gain their names soon. Was it because of his complete disregard of his own bleeding, or just the sheer amounts of death that he caused in a day? Was it because he was once a baron's fool, or just his long record of backstabbing those who trusted him? Whatever it was, it soon gained him the name by which everyone shivers when they hear it. The Red Knave.

Race: (depending on setting it can be not human): Construct (like frankenstien's monster, but looking like a normal person)

Equipment: Knife

Virtues: Takes less damage from vital organ hits, and even less from bleeding; Great actor (at emotions);

Drawbacks: May get fixated on a random passing person, MAKING him have to kill him; Complete disregard for being covered in blood (makes him more and more suspicious);

Preferred method of !!MURDER!!: He is without emotion, he "prefers" nothing; One murder might be a silent throut cut, the other a savage slash across the stomach.

Skills: Acrobatics, Stealth, Reflexes

Thanks guys for waiting so long with this game, and I am terribly sorry for the long delay.

NRDL:
[53]
The lady in the hall says she seen a guy enter the Commander's office with a barrel, singing quietly. She doesn't know anything else, though.

Alev:
[85]
A thug walks out of an alleyway and says
"He went for the Judge. He's probably dead now, though. The old guy had a meeting with his escort, so... Yeah. Small chances."
Before you say anything, he is gone again. Huh. He looked like one of the Boss's men, though.
Salsacookies:
[28]
You manage to organize the people with the buckets to stop spilling all of the water.
Tomasque:
[94] You see that the man you currently were cutting to pieces is dead now, that's for sure. You are covered in his guts, after a small search you think that he was a tax collector. He had a list of homes with their rent undue, and keys to all of them. He had a bag of 36 coins. You think that your time is running out, so you probably should cling on to your dear life!

NRDL:
[31] You try to be not seen, but you aren't exactly sneaking into an empty room, the place is full with guards. They aren't worried yet, but they soon will.

Alev:
[55] You calmly enter the alley looking for the source of the voice. The only person you find, is dead. Burned into ash. You see some footsteps, likely to be the killer's.

Salsacookies:
[30]You quickly deduce that the killer ran through the window, and that the victim was burned to death with oil. You unfortunately rip off the arm of the, now deceased commander, and are forced to hide it under your clothes to avoid a solid beating from the Royal Guard.

All:
[90] Independantly from your location, you all hear the shouts of heralds, proclaiming:

"Due to large influx of violent crime, unbeknownst the wrong-doer, the King Louis Vorhoardt the Conqueror of Marchy, declares the state of emergence and deploys the force of 200 Royal Guard onto the streets. Furthermore, all citizen are asked to stay home at night, and keep in groups. Any sort of offence towards one of the city Guard shall be punished by imprisonment or harsher punishment.ę

NRDL
[60] After engaging in some chit-chat, you find out, that the Commander had a visitor. A tall guy, holding a barrel. Singing quietly to himself. A bit weird, isn't he?

Alev:
[15] You not only destroy the tracks, but lose yourself in the alleyways. You fortunately manage to get out before losing your purse, or your life...

Salsacookies:
[25] You try to throw the arm behind one of the cabinets, but your arm was a bit twisted and it didn't fly true. It instead hit the Royal Commander in the face, blinding him with bits of ash and burnt flesh. You quickly sweep out of the building before he regains his senses and goes on a rampage.

(I'm kind of confused to as what's happening.)
You got a bad roll and got lost. You now are outside the alleyway. The tracks are still there, but you failed to investigate on them. On a worse roll you could be pickpocketed or even attacked.

NRDL:
[65]
A shocked young woman says:

"He came into Henry's office, but never left..."

When you try to ask her anything else, she keeps repeating the same words. You are interrupted by one of the urchins running in. He looks tired if not exhausted, but he delivers you a letter informing you of a construct in the city. It is the ultimate priority to either capture or kill that ungodly being. [100] You also receive a letter informing you, that you now command a group of 5 experienced men under your command. You feel that the beast is going down.

Alev:
[49] You see a dark figure on a rooftop, and he is shooting at you! [26 + 5] vs [30 + 10] The bolt hits you square in your shoulder, dislocating it and making a deep, though not very bleeding, wound.

Salsacookies:
[86] You manage to alert your leader of your presence, due to him being in the station. You find a gold pin on the ground. You think this is your lucky day.

NRDL:
[82] You deliver your orders and leave one man to look for clues. The last known location of the monster was unknown, [100] but you follow your itch and find yourself next to one of your fellow guardsmen with a wound in his shoulder scaling a wall. One of your also points your attention to an informer which you already escorted earlier going to his home, accompanied by a weird fella. Seconds later he slits the informer's throat!

Alev:
[12 -20] Your feeble attempt at throwing only aggravates the wound, almost knocking you unconcious due to the pain. You do not think you have the strength to scale the wall afterwards.

Salsacookies:
[69] You were just about to ask some people some questions, but you see a squad of hobos led by a man with a barrel in his hands, singing songs and merrily dancing.

Huh.

NRDL:
[91 - 10 vs 9 + 25] You tackle the bastard to the ground before he does one of his tricks. You are in the better position and you try to wrestle his knife away.
[13] And those fucking "seasoned veterans" are too shocked to even move their asses! One of 'em at least walks up to the guy with the slit throat.

Alev:
((North? Currently, anything to the north is a wall of buildings. I guess you will just run... somewhere.))
[12 - 10 aggravated wound] All you manage is to trip and fall on the ground. You are winded, but nothing more serious happened.

Salsacookies:
[79 vs 21] You approach the strange man with your hands in a battle position with your glaive and ask for his buisness. (( Now, Wwolin and you will have to converse. Manually.))
When the hobos see that you are a guard, they [100] scatter like cockroaches away from you. It's good to know that you mean something here.

NRDL & Tomasque: [50] You manage to sneak a punch to his gut, bruising him up a bit, but the damn bastard managed to counter attack with a knife. With a slash to your chest. It bleeds a bit, but  your men [78] come right up and start kicking the killer. [1 out of 4 successes] Only one of them lands it, [15] but it only grazes him.

Alev: You stand around and ask some questions to the men killing a murderer. For some weird reason, they ignore you.

Salsacookies & Wwolin:
Before you can question him about the barrel, he tries to hit you with it! [97 vs 66 +10] He is so excited, that he swings it in the air, missing you completely. You, on the other hand [8 vs 5] punch one of his teeth out with a strong jab. He is confused, but still standing.

I will pretend to try,and stab him in the neck, which will be a distraction for me,trying to get his sword from his sheath with my free hand. The knife with the dagger I will use to block the blows of him,and his men (quick reflexes, remember). Whether or not this actually works out, I will stun him somehow, get him off me,(acrobatics?) and brandishing my sword o r dagger, push my way out of the circle of veterans.

If he.does not have a sword, I will instead acually stab him in the neck, followed by getting him of.me, success or no, and push my way out of the circle.

After any of the two possibilities, I will initiate what I would have done, if the killing of my Aeron was successful.

Note: I wrote all this on an old phone, so sorry about this miss spellings.

NRDL:
[55] vs [84] You think you just spotted an opening in the monster's defence, but what  you really find is a knife. You try to wrestle it out of the killers reach, but what happens, is him ripping it out of your grip and forcing it through your neck. At least you see [39] that your men are bringing the boot to the killer below you.

You aren't dead... yet. You are barely alive, and bleeding out.

Alev:
You see one of your friends getting murdered. Pretty cool, considering.

Salsacookies:
[81 vs 84 + 10] You hit him, but at that angle you wouldn't be able to bring down a crippled child. You feel a strong bash on the side of your head, and try very hard to stay on your feet.
The hobos [75] don't look like they want to be associated and subsequently executed for a murder of a guard, and pick some rocks and sticks, a few get torches.

[57 - 30 vs 12+ 10] You hold the monster in place, letting your men kill him. [Tomasque's 45 - 5 vs 49] The big guy, named Robert Punch, lands a strong kick on the face of the construct, knocking it to the ground.
Alev:
[20] You calmly get closer to Jeremiah and hug him, That oughta help.
Salsacookies:
[96 vs 69] You promptly swing your axe around and hack at the shoulder of the assailant. The arm flies around nicely, and it adds to the view.

The turn of death, retirement, explosions, and someone completely fucking destroying my dice.

NRDL:
[35 - 20] You struggle to keep breathing, but only succeed in drifting off to sleep. An endless one, perhaps. If your minions get you to a medic before you die, you'll survive. You are out of the play, now.

Wwolin:
Initiative:
Wwolin [55] vs. Salsacookies [22]

[100]In the last moments of your life, you rip the torch out of the hobo's hands, and kick the barrel to shreds. Smiling with a drip of sadness, perhaps, you drop the torch in the pool of oil and tackle the guard to the guard. You would feel great satisfaction, knowing that in the crates near you an experimental resource has been transferred, one called "gunpowder". When the flames touched it, the entire delivery exploded greatly, destroying the City Hall along with [100 holy cow] the King himself inside. The entire surrounding area is destroyed and completely annihilated, and many nobles,  buorgeiose and wealthy die along with your squad of hobos.
In the following years, [100] you are known as the Jolly Giant, the patron of explosives, revolutions, drunkards, and flames. Many songs and poetry are written about you and your deeds, and you are known as the man who managed to destroy the kingdom and its capital in one night, alone, with no plan, and only with two barrels of oil and some support from the sailor-hobos. You are written in cards of history as the man of great courage and spirit, able to take life in his own hands. You are a legend, and will live forever in many tales and stories.

Salsacookies:
After your death, not much remained. You were a stranger, enlisted to help with the crime, and that you did. You tried to stop the greatest terrorist in the world alone, and you failed. [90] You are remembered as the only man able to step up to fight the Jolly Giant, though you aren't quite as remembered as him.

Tomasque:
[8] You stay unconscious, unable to defend yourself, while you are tied down and led to the station and are promptly put on a chair and bind to it.

Alev: You poke at the wound and lick it a little. It tastes funny.

((Wwolin, you got 100 on 12 different exploding dice background checks. Try gambling, you lucky bastard.))
Varee has retired. Salsacookies has died. Wwolin has died.

Alev:
[5] You trip and accidentally get your head stuck in a garbage dumpster, leaving you there to starve to death, while you can't even move. You are remembered only by few, even your family know little about your actions. Although to make things a tad better for your soul, the few who did know you held you in high regard.

NRDL:
[53] Although your wound are great, you somehow survive, but are permanently unable to work as a guard again, due to the complications. [72] Later, some history books write your name down as the man that stopped the monster-construct. Too bad you live the rest of your life as a simple official in the intelligence office in another country. Oh well, it could be worse.

Tomasque:
[30] Your trial is swift and simple. The punishment is a quick death by dismemberment and the burning of your corpse. Your last stand, however, ends right there, unfortunately the squad of Royal Guards went and cut you to ribbons seconds later. To this day, you lived a life of next to no importance as a citizen of Empire of Suklave. You have little to no political power in the city named Velbörk. The most interesting moments of your life were finding a purse with someone's correspondence or the occasional over consumption of alcohol that was then stopped by a large influx of violence from the Constables. The occasional zeppelin flying over your lodgings was a great spectacle for you and your neighbors, if you ever had any.
But then something changed. Whether you had a mental breakdown or maybe got bores of your current achievements, you retreat from society into the metaphorical valley of death.

Known Factions
The Nobles
The Constables, the police force
The Harpooners, army of the Empire
The Revolutionaries
The Criminals
The Church
The Spies

I've introduced a Faction system. Upon a creation of character, you may also add connections to these. Note: you may have only one connection to avoid overpowered characters. Some factions are hidden, and other compete with each other for power. To acquire information about important figures, you will have to roll to gather information. Having a connection automatically gives you the names of important figures in that faction.

Available races: Human.

Woohoo! anyway... Can I use the character that I made in the last post? (The Johnathan dude... Converted to steampunk era and minus part of the backstory) I'll be connected to the Constables BTW.. But it's not like I'll help them or anything....

Okay, to push things forward a bit, I'll let the current players start now.

Alev:
[54] The man that gave you hope in the future said:
"My name is Stross Ricketts. I, and a group of other people form what is called the dynamite faction. We fight evil to let men live another day happily. To free the people from their chains, you must strike the enemy straight in the heart, so we must gather forces to make sure the hit is true and strong. You, my friend, shall be the person responsible for protecting these people, as we may not trust the Constables for safety. Your nickname for this operation shall be sent to you by a trusted courier. You shall also be given a red ribbon to recognize and be recognized as one of us. Just for this situation, if things go extremely out of hand, shout with all your strength the phrase "ORION, GUIDE ME TO FREEDOM". But do not use it unless necessary, or tell it to anyone."

Known Revolutionary contacts:
Sir Stross Ricketts

Tomasque:
[7] Well, that didn't work. The man you just got stopped by while stalking someone was the unfamous Officer Bryar. But instead of beating you to death for "profilactics", he smiled grimly and pulled towards an alleyway.

"You, scumbag, are a perfect candidate for a small mission. Now, you will go to Commisar Stiechkin and report for duty. You got two minutes before I bash your face to bits with this rifle, and if you don't get there in time we'll be in for a treat!"

He calls for one of his pals. It seems he wants to engage in some sort of wicked death race to this Stiechkin. You heard horrifying stories about the men that pissed Bryar for things as menial as spitting on the pavement, and this time he's got more reasons to mutilate you. Maybe you should be on your way?

Known Constable contacts:
Officer Bryar
Commisar Stiechkin (?)

Salsacookies:
[47] You sit in your small apartment and wonder about the possibilities the world just opened to you with this book. I mean, you could just simply take over the world with it! But to that, you first would need to do some research. You don't have any plan for this phase... yet... but you sure know that Pastor Stevenson could have some ideas about your "purely hobbistic interest in alchemical experiments".

Known Church contacts:
Pastor Stevenson

PDA's and  IED's are a bit too much, gunpowder is easy to obtain, sure, but dynamite hasn't been invented yet. And PDA is just too much. Everything else - I'm okay with it.

[15] You go back to your lodgings and calmly wait for the courier. You wait for a few hours.
He does not arrive.
You know your sources enough that if the guy hadn't appeared in 15 minutes, someone's dead meat. You now will have to recover your equipment or do the nigh impossible act of tracking down your contact.

Varee:
[60] Woah, that didn't go so well. That heist was stupid in the very beginning anyway, but this way only you survived. You don't exactly have the grace of a cat, but you certainly do have a fuckton of explosive devices able to blow up anyone in you path. You rendezvous with Shaky Tom is still current, and he will be glad to receive his share of the meagre loot.

You already gave up, but as you pass the Amenities Distribution Center you see a small crater, hole in the wall and a body. Well... I guess I'll replace Alev, then.

Name: George Okreman
Age: 27
Backstory: George use to be a nobody. He was just another mechanic. Just another oppressed citizen, ignorant to the invisible web of politics around him. But then a man came up to him. He told him of bounty hunting, the riches, the glory! George was spellbound. Soon he was bounty hunting on his own, finally feeling free and without restrictions. Sure, he wasn't that well known, but it was greatly above what he used to be. It was the climax of his life...

But then he got caught. He didn't know how they knew, but one night they came. When he came to, he was given a choice. Either go with the usual penalty of life in prison, or work for the law - a constable with no boundaries; an undercover federal enforcer. He chose the latter. Today is his first day as a "special agent." He still has his weapons, his skills, but does he have the nerve? Only time will tell.
Race: Human
Equipment: Wrist crossbow (mechanically modified to fire at the strength of a normal crossbow), armor-piercing crossbow bolts, Assassins's creed wrist blade (telescoping to the length of a short sword), Special Agent badge
Virtues: Bounty-Weapon Finesse (+10 to all bounty hunter weapons a.k.a. all badass weaponry), All-terrain (gains a +10 to any kind of movement. Running, climbing, you name it.)
Drawbacks: Suspicious (normal citizens might not trust him), Drinker (Needs alcohol at least once a day to function properly. For an hour after drinking, he will be slightly drunk, giving him a -5 to everything.)

I'll send out a message to everyone that Psycho-maniacs is starting again. Hope everyone is still interested.

P.S. Have Alev spontaneously explode or something.

[16]The open swing open, but you manage to jump away into some crates, getting a bit bruised and cut in the process. In the doorframe stands a barkeep, terrified and holding some sort of bomb in his hands. Upon seeing you, he [45] drops it and runs. It doesn't explode, but you have a bad feeling about staying near it.

Well, hello guys. I encountered my first uber big writers block, along with increased schoolwork and a threat of being sent to an insane asylum. The last one? Literally. So, I'm sorry for the lack of updates, will try to continue these games.

Tomasque:
[68]You kick it away and bolt away from the door, you see now that the barkeep is cowering in a corner, his entire body covered in sweat and a sensable aura  of fear, you tackle him to the ground and cover your ears. Next second, you feel like time slowed for a minute, you feeling the energy unleashed from the bomb rip the flooring apart and unleash a storm of splinters all over the room. You are thrown up to the roof and, even through your closed eyes, are able to see the inferno consuming the building. [41 - 10] [93 + 10] The energy of the explosion as well as the sharp splinters around you seem to miss you completely, as you are shielded by the body of the now almost completely filled with spikes and torn barkeep, who oddly seems to be alive, even after this punishment. You are just bruisde from hitting the ceiling, but are unharmed otherwise. You fall down [76] outside, hitting your shoulder on the tough metal road. You feel something heavy fall right next to you, but your eyes still hurt because of the incredible light that penetrated your eyelids.

Your entire body is bruised, save for your right shoulder, which is heavily bruised. You may have a broken arm, and you have a -10 to all actions and -15 to actions with you right arm. If you do have a broken arm, you will have a hidden -20 attached as long as you do not know of this injury.
