I should be on showdown in about half an hour for about 4 or 5 hours. I kind of want to try refining my all Ground team (possibly used for gym stuff later) if anyone wants to give me input later.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Finally, the last of the children came. He was strange, a bit tall, wearing glasses and decked out in a full tuxedo. When he got the ball, he frowned, and something in the air...glinted. The ball seemed imperceptibly different afterwards. And now, he was smiling.
"You. I will fight you." he said, to one of the others.
"Uhm, alright then."
"Come on Puff!"
"Ready yourself, Lord Of All."
"Uhhh...Puff, Sing!"
"Charge your power, Lord."
"Yes! Now use Dream Eater."
"Rest as you like, Lord."
"Crap, that didn't do much...secret power!"
"We can be patient, Lord Of All."
"Neither did that! Dream Eater again!"
"Now my Lord. Awake, and show them the true meaning of your dreams. Implant your Psychic powers within the beast's mind."
"No, Puff!"
"Excellent, my Lord. You are entitled to a treat for such a performance..."

I'll be on showdown in case rolepgeek rolls around (unlikely at this time of the day though) and for ground team tests.

Otherwise, well, we are waiting for GWG vs Kansa, Culise and Bluerobin. I am Hoping Ferroseed will give GWG a good score boost, while maybe holding Culise back a bit...but we'll see

For those who already wanna build their third round team, level is now 40. Everything may evolve, if the level permits it. You may add one more expensive item to your inventory, berries are still free. You may now spend all remaining EVs, and add a third pokemon to your team, which may be any non-legendary that DOES NOT EVOLVE (http://pokemondb.net/evolution/none). With Full EVs of course.
The list may be depressingly short, but includes many excellent choices. Not shown on the list are the choices from gen6, which include furfrou (excellent physical wall), Hawlucha (good set-up sweeper), Dedene (mediocre electro rodent), Carbink (excellent defences) and Klefki, a prankster par excellence

The boy challenged his next opponent.

"Puffball guy, ready?"
"Yeah, I am. Let's see how well you do."
"Buffpuff, Light Screen!"
"Leech Seed, Nutty!"
"What kind of name is that?"
"An AWESOME name! Seeded!"
The one girl was watching and sighed. "Sll men are the same. Spreading their seeds all over."
"Wish!"
"Your wish will never come true."
"Miss Ick, Earthquake!"
"Leech Seed again!"
"Earthquake!"
"Gyro Ball!"
"Roost!"
Cobalt's pretty useful...he shouldn't be left out...
"Come on, Cobalt! Waterfall!"
"Roost! Earthquake!"
"Fire Blast!"
"Earthquake!"
"Cobalt! No!"
"Eeeee...Roost!"
"Gyro! Ball!"
"Roost!"
"You're in a descending loop! Gyro Ball!"
"Roost!"
"Gyro! Ball!"
"Roost!"
"GYROBALL!"
"Roo--! Awww.."
"Hah!"
"It's okay, Miss Ick, come here."
The girl on the sidelines spoke up. "Next round, I'm expecting everyone to have a counter to Ferrothorn."
"Duh. Nutty's awesome!"
"Fer!"

And only like 5 10 minutes of work. Just google goomy papercraft, it's on a site with tons of pokemon crafts. Yes, arts and crafts being our meeting points did leave it's marks.

The boy had two more people to battle. He felt pretty good; Cobalt was lagging, but Nutty basically one-shotted every team so far. He challenged the first person he saw.
"You there! The one who had the ghost! Battle!"
"Alright. Lacie!"
"Nutty, Leech--"
"Fire Blast!"
"..."
One hit! He took out Nutty in ONE HIT!
"Cobalt! Waterfall!"
"Will-O-The-Wisp! Shadow Ball! Sha..."
The repeated blasts of falling water had extinguished the blobby little Ghost.
"Jabberwock!"
"What kind of name is that?"
"Says the guy who named his pokemon Nutty?"
"Thunder Wave!"
"Sludge Wave!"
And like that, it was over.
"...Aw."
"Well-fought."
"Thanks."
"Hey!" That one bossy girl was watching again. "Don't forget to record it."
"Yeah, yeah. I get it."

Hmm...I wonder where Culise is
Housework and some minor woodwork.  I can sign on, but I don't have my teams or...various other files with me due to various circumstances, so I won't be able to battle for the tourney until Monday.  Sorry.

EDIT: And, hours after your post, no one else is on right now.  C'est la vie. ^_^
