The first player to post is the Provost of the University.
I am Planet. (And other faction leaders, maybe, unless it doesn't work out that way at all)
Other players are Senior Academicians(Advisers), Governors of outlying towns, or Talents (Celebrities) with the ear of the Provost.
The Game will almost entirely be within the Provost's hands, whoever he or she may be. This is not a democracy (unless the Provost makes it so!). The general direction of the game is to be run by the Provost!

However, you must see that flattery can only be a corrosive influence in the University that clouds the minds of those it is used upon, and creating situations where the slivertongued are victorious over the intelligent. I do hope that you will at least reconsider, and allow me a position as governor of a city, whatever the name shall be.

Provost, the use of force is deemed to be beneath those of an intellectual frame of mind. Many consider it crude and inelegant. I am of the persuasion that this is false - those that choose to oppose us should find themselves under threat of arms, where history has shown us that victory goes to those that make use of swiftness, sense of purpose and guile. Also, I must question the wisdom of having the spies report only to one person. If only one person knows the information, then we cannot give our ideas on how to react. I don't wish to say this, but it could also lead to treachery from a malevolent leader, not that I suspect that of Himmler.

First of all, they are not "the spies". They are my spies. I trained them myself and they are loyal to me.
Second of all, I simply give the Provost my information, I am not somehow keeping him from sharing it. I will let him share what he sees fit to share.
Third of all, you insinuate treachery. Let it be known, that as long as the conditions of my status here are met, I will stay loyal to the Provost. That is all.

I do hope you realize that Santiago may be simply lying to us. I think she is luring us into an unnecessary war against someone who isn't even really near us. While our troops are off fighting, she will backstab us and attack us at our home ground.Santiago thinks were weak so we become strong and send some troops to war but then when he comes in thinking were helpless we pounce on him and kill him.
