Meh, if they're on fire you only need to keep them outside and wait. :P

If were-beasts keep most of the attributes of the beasts they turn into... super speedy werecheetahs might be a problem.

I'd like to see these kinds of curses being transmissible (rarely) from Forgotten Beasts and Titans. Imagine the !!fun!! when your militia commander gets bitten by a FB and starts transforming into a horrible monster on occasion. Or various other curses, like one that turns the victim permanently into a small copy of itself.

Imagine if the RNG really screwed you over and you get attacked by a giant fire breathing raw adamantine badger that turns your dwarves into smaller, giant firebreathing raw adamantine badgers. That'd be pretty terrifying! It could be extremely cool though, if the affected dwarves remained part of the fortress. Imagine trying to run a mutant fortress!

Socks inspire the same sort of emotions in dwarfs that Helen of Troy inspired in the Achaean Greeks. Although it is said that Helen's face launched a thousand ships, socks have surely launched a million ultimately-fatal Store Owned Item tasks.
