Modding a GCS to not attack dwarves?
« on: March 30, 2009, 07:17:06 pm »

I modded the creature file so my GCS can be tamed, and it's tame.

So I let it out of it's cage, and it starts shooting web at dwarves and kills a few dogs and dwarves, how can I fix this so it attacks enemies (goblins, kobolds, etc) but not my dwarves?

A known bug, if it's still around, of taming something is that if the creature has attacked some dwarves, it won't "really" be tame. It'll just be treated as tame, but it'll still kill your dwarves, who won't mind it one bit!  ;D

not attack: kill. It has to have killed a dwarf (or possibly pet). It'll usually be named if this is the case. It's hardcoded, sorry.

You can however set up a web farm with him now.
