On a more serious note, Kj HAS brought up something that might be worth paying attention to- the allocation of teams.

There'll be squads? Permanent or situational? Seeing as circumstances change and affinity coverage requirements presumably vary.

Well, semi-permanent. Get used to your teammates, but it'd be good if you cycle around every so often if or when the affinities match up- though we have a good enough spread that teams will be alright anyway.

Yeah, it seems a bit easier to switch out squadmates to cover roles and whanot than to struggle with the same squad the whole way through.

How will they be divided though? There's 14 combat units (12 PCs and 2 NPCs) and only one mission support unit.

Two teams of seven- easier for me than many little teams or one large team. The support will be able to contact everyone through his Persona.

As will be explained later, there will probably be two objectives per dungeon or part of Achronos to match the squads.

Ah, I was thinking the groups may be smaller or something. So I take it when the character limit was 11, either there'd have been a third NPC or Kyousuke would have been a combatant?

No, Kyousuke was always planned to be the support, and there were only ever going to be two NPCs. The enemies would have been just slightly weaker.
