The irony is real
Best summary:
Quote
A student group at Williams College called “Uncomfortable Learning” that asked a conservative female author to speak on campus reportedly rescinded that invitation because – wait for it – students were too uncomfortable over the prospect of her speech.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I would take that class, it's an easy A if I ever saw one. Even if it is completely pointless, it's still a 4.0 to pad out the average.

We don't do things like you do in the US. Nobody really cares about your total UCAS score, they're more interested in your top 3 grades.

It should be the scores in your subject they care about, but whatever.

Well yeah, they specify the ones they care about. But it'll be something like "3 A grades, with at least one being in Physics or Maths" for example.

Sounds sort of similar to what we have here - we have mandatory A-levelish thingies in Math and Russian (when I graduated, it was so, anyway), plus whatever you want to take, and universities usually sort applicants based on their total score in those two plus one or two exams that they want. It is assumed you know which universities you're applying to, so you take your exams accordingly.
