I follow a guy on Twitter that does some amazing artwork at a ridiculous rate of speed. This recent one is just such a dark joke that it tickles me like crazy:

Shouldn't be any need for spoilers, there, the key point is just the bloody spurs strapped to leg of the (living; note there's a probably dead one on the ground) torchick/orange bird. They're a chicken fighting accessory. KZ's got it, more or less.

That the audience is mostly made up of aqua/magma grunts is a nice touch.

they're the team rocket (major antagonist) equivalents of the game torchick is from, mostly

in that picture it's the ones wearing the orange hoodies or the blue bandannas

They sound familiar... oh right!  Those whale-worshipping scrubs I got my leggings from!

(It's still weird to me that phone screens are 1080x2220.  I played Half Life 1 on CRTs dagnabbit, 640x480 to minimize lag!)
