I found this after watching the Steins Gate movie:

King of the Damned
I feel like the song reaches a powerful crescendo at 2:53; I think that's pleasant to hear.

I love that John Carpenter is _still_ making music that I like.

I found this to be an enjoyable instrumental piece. It was nice to hear guitar and synthesizer.
Unicorns Were Horses by New Kingdom

I like the nearly incomprehensible vocals mixed with the harsh vocals about unicorns and wanting to explode. Also enjoyed how it ended and began with keyboard. To me, the song had fun changes in dynamics.

New Kingdom is probably the only hip-hop (or alt hip-hop, or psychedelic hip-hop, or whatever you would classify their style as) group that I really enjoy, even if mostly as a guilty pleasure. It's a shame that they didn't last long or put out that much music, as I don't know if anyone else has really captured the style that they had.

Zeal & Ardor - to my ilk

Their new single just dropped and hoooo boy is it a good one. Can't wait to see what the rest of the album is like, as this more like Birdmask than Z&A which is an interesting direction as I'm really curious what the potential fusion of the two might sound like.

man, what's been the few latest...

johnny cash singing about stds (i've had the intro to that stuck in my head since the 90s due to friggin' old CD shilling commercials)

marty robbins on dying of thirst (might be the best water song ever)

song about children getting high as hell on carnie juice (plus remixes, especially like the first one) (love me dat trumpet)

whatever phonk is

noticed there were remaster versions of a couple of super mario rpg songs that have been living rent free in my skull for nearly thirty years

smattering of spider dance remixes

elo's sweet talkin' woman

DK Island Swing remix where they actually cosplayed nintendo characters for the vid

round it out with some real damn good blues (how the hell I missed ben harper when he's a three time grammy winner I'm still not 100% sure)
