Actually RoseHeart, I'm ready to decide a winner. Clearly Tim is in a much better position as far as gear and health so the win goes to TricMagic! The story will be continued without any further input from TricMagic or notquitethere and at a pace that is more like 1 or two updates per week.

Next, TricMagic and notquitethere will be heading back to the world of CYOGTCG Wars! Once again they will have to create their own cards, then engage in card-based combat once more. This time, they'll do so without any knowledge of their opponent's tactics in advance, or any allies to help them out! Go witness their battle in the CYOGTCG Wars - Core Thread!

I didn't explicitly say this before because I didn't think I had to. But just so that there is absolutely no doubt I will inform you that cards that are overpowered will be nerfed, and any obvious exploits to the game system itself will be removed. That part of CYOGTCG Wars has not changed. If you do not think that your cards would be viable if they were nerfed to the point of being even remotely fair, make sure that you send me a new PM with the card designs that you actually want to use as soon as possible.

(I will also clarify that CYOGTCG games run by people other than me do not set a precedent for non-overpowered cards)

Alright, seems like we're a week in. Roboson is MIA, so that means the next trial is on my shoulders. I won't need the week to prepare, so go ahead and take the week to run a full trial.

Game: CYOGTCG Wars
Goal: Defeat Your Opponent

The time has come to begin the Forum Runner CYOGTCG Wars Trial!

You'll be returning to the land of CYOGTCG Wars, but this time as your Forum Runner character instead of your CYOGTCG Wars character! Now you'll get to create some totally new cards with which to battle against your opponent with!

The trial will be split into two phases. First the card creation phase, and second will be a straight up CYOGTCG Duel against your rival! To win, you'll need to either reduce your opponent's hearts to Zero, or have the most hearts remaining by November 18.

As you are both already familiar with CYOGTCG I feel we can jump right into the first phase, which will likely take at least a couple of days as I will need to put together quite a few cards. For each card you want to make, fill out the template below.

You may make up to 13 cards. The templates should be sent to me via PM, ideally within the next 48 hours.

Have them PM a kind of hairstyle to you. Feature the hairstyle very prominently, but the character should be otherwise rather blank and generic. In CYOGTCG Wars, a character's hairstyle is the most significant thing about their appearance for some reason.

I'll reuse some older cloths. It will be relatively flashy, but for these characters it's the most "generic" and familiar they're used to.

Plain brown hair, somewhat long. (With bits of it curving outward like crescent bowls, with one actually looking like some sort of horn)

Congratulations Forum Runners for completing the competition. And of course, congrats TricMagic on being the first ever Forum Runner Double Champion!

A revival, a reboot, a double champion... Forum Runner 3 / 3.5 has surely left a mark on the face of the series. It was a bold move by notquietthere to choose the "Rain Check" Underdog Bonus, leaving themselves a bit high and dry.

I'd now like to invite TricMagic, Dunamisdeos, and notquitethere to reflect upon their experience. How are you feeling Runners?
