So, considering I got one person to respond and nobody to complain about this being horribly broken, I guess it's nearly perfect to post guyz. Though to be honest, the Roller's Block thread is pretty bad lately in that respect--all ideas, no reviews.

Anyway, yes, a minimalist excuse me, minimalish RTD from me, Tarran, master of making too many complex things. This is bound to be either amazing or awful.

Still interested? Actually, I don't care. I'm fine either way--you don't join, I don't have to work. You do join, and I can inflict misery and woe on you. But quite honestly I'm pretty sure you came here because you wanted to play, not because you wanted to go "lol u suck lolol" right?

DF General Discussion / This is unusual.

So, here I am, in adventure mode, going around a fortress' central building. First thing I notice, Olm Woman Law-Giver on the first floor. "Interesting." I thought.

Then I walked up the stairs. Another one, but this time she's immediately hostile. I run down the stairs and my companions and the other Olm Woman kills her.

I notice the MASSIVE amount of crap on her, so I decided to check legends.

And then I see it. A Vampire Olm Woman.

So, let's sum up her life:

Neslane Beresimowe is born in 163 from unknown parents. At the age of 27 she leaves the caverns somehow, and somehow becomes friends with the humans. And became a warlord. Then,at age 35, she starts worrying about her life, so she goes to a shrine to dragons and profanes it, being cursed into a vampire. Then, after 10 years of being a vampire, she becomes a member of some unimportant people with an ironic name. After 33 years of killing over a thousand and a half people, she finally gets caught and leaves in a flash. She then, all within in one year, uses her vampiric powers to become a Law-Giver after becoming the member of a new civ. She then moved somewhere else, and created the position of lord three times over 3 years. Finally, before she could do so again, an utterly blood soaked adventurer (me), that smells of slain vampire blood, came up into her room. She lunges at the adventurer as he backs off in confusion and runs down the stairs. His companions and another Olm Woman, seeing the aggression and her vampire teeth, charge and try to save him, quickly bringing her life to a bitter end at the age of 87.

Only in Dwarf Fortress.

Link to the game that made me think of starting this. It is made of awesome. Whether this RTD will be made of awesome or not depends on if I'm awesome or not. I don't believe I am.

So, this is obviously an RTD that allows you to play as a dragon and screw up the world! Or be a strangely-not-generic cuddly dragon buddy.

Roll To Dodge / USDF Spaceship RTD (Ended.)

Alright, it looks like RTDs are the only thing I enjoy doing, and since Squad RTD went failtrain, here's another one. This is mainly a space combat RTD, but your main goal is to save humanity. So you can land on planets and explore, though you might be needed elsewhere. THIS IS A FREE EXPLORING GAME.

The year is 2415. You are a crew member of a currently unnamed USDF (United Sol Defense Force) Panther class frigate. It's up to you guys to decide a name.

You are currently docked at Reach space station, which is orbiting Titania.

Your ship's computers are filled with history. Just ask about anything (once per turn) and you will get what you asked for, it may be brief if I can't be bothered to type anymore in.

As XXX, it's your responsibility to stay at your post until you are needed elsewhere, if you don't, your captain is fit to punish you any way he/she wants.

BEFORE YOU PICK CAPTAIN:
As captain, you are responsible for your entire crew.
As captain, your men will rely on you to keep them alive. And you will do everything in your power to keep them alive.
As captain, you make all the big decisions. Think before giving orders.
As captain, you are fit to punish crew members any way you want, though you'd better have a good reason.

BEFORE YOU PICK CO-PILOT:
As co-pilot, it's your duty to take over from your Captain if:
  The captain is deceased.
  The captain is insane (crew members vote).
  The captain is away, or missing.

How experience works.
Every time you do something right, you get one point in the skill's direction.
Basic [0/4] Every time you roll a 1, you roll another dice. If it rolls a 3 or less, your roll still counts as a 1. If it rolls a 4 or higher, your roll counts as a 2. This cuts your epic fail rates in half.
Trained [0/12] All epic fails count as a regular fail.
Expert [0/24] All Overshoots count as regular success.

(I had to retype this, argh).
The Solar System: A suggestion solar system simulation.

Another go at forum games. Since I'm not very creative, I'll leave the creativity to you guys.

Rules:
1: Don't go too fast. You should plan your suggestions to be within less than or exactly 500,000 years*. *(Or whatever, just around that amount of time).
2: No stupid suggestions. How do you know something classifies as stupid? Read it yourself. If it seems like that would never happen in real life, then that's likely a stupid suggestion.
3: You can Veto. You can also support something. ONLY ONE THING CAN HAPPEN AT A TIME.

Goal: There is no goal. The Goal is to play until I, or you get bored. You can make your own goals if you want, though the game won't stop if you reached your goal.
When a majority votes that the system is "done". You are allowed to go back in time to another brand new system. Beware though: You cannot go back.

The beginning:

In the beginning, there was a single red Supergiant star. And nothing else.

Then a flash, the sun had gone supernova. The star had reached the end of it's lifetime.

A large cloud of gas was sent into space, within that cloud, a star was born, our sun.

What kind of star is our sun? (note: It cannot be a super or hyper giant).
What is it's name?

Another game by yours truly.

This game will allow you to see my obsession with Terraforming, oh the wonderful thing. I'll use Aurora for many things.

And for all of you who want to put ammonia in the earth's atmosphere, this game is serious. You do something stupid like launching an asteroid at a habited planet, they will either blast you into space dust, or put you in a jail. (Both kick you off the game and put another player in your place)

This is a multiplayer game, it will be a game with a win/defeat of Musical chairs. The person with the least points is kicked out for the next player in the waiting list. You may apply again, but will be put at the bottom of the waiting list. Each round has three players. In the event of a tie (Very unlikely), everyone will move onto the next round, with no-one kicked off.

You are a Terraforming ship, you also have a traction beam to haul certain objects like asteroids, and collide them with planets. You can add gas at a rate of 0.06 ATMs per month, each action takes a month, each turn is a month, and you have eighteen months for each system.

You start in sol, and then go to other unique systems, generated by Aurora (of course). I will make sure to only pick systems with at least one gas giant and at least 5 planets/dwarf planets/moons with a colony rating of at least 4 in Aurora.

Roll To Dodge / Future Squad RTD (End.)

Alright, due to popular vote, here's a squad RTD.

Story:
The year is 2652, the worst year in a civil war on the planet Weston (Alpha Centari III) you are a squad of highly trained commandos.

In 2646 the civil war broke out, a dispute about the use of the few natural resources on Weston, add in the unrest for the last few hundred years and you've got a war.

You are siding with the rebels on Weston, as it is your home world, Weston is a earthlike planet with massive mushrooms, a slightly toxic atmosphere (not toxic enough to kill you though) and plenty of other stuff that makes it a surreal planet.

The Confederation of Planets (The confeds) are invading your planet! You are in a bunker overlooking a large spaceport, you have to hold onto the spaceport, if you don't, the confeds will use it to land their main force.

Roles (Remember, doing your role's job is IMPORTANT). There can only be one of each (Though Standard is assigned to as many players without other roles):
