Yes, in the next version we'll be able to determine the relative frequency of each of the various castes.  This will allow control over gender ratios.

Cool. On an unrelated note, how could I make it so that, upon females reaching an immobile adult caste, they will be fed by the others?

Giant (has to be giant or it'd be too insignificant) Ant/Bee/Termite mod? Sounds interesting

I'm thinking more of a total conversion thing, what with pellet posies and bulborbs and whatnot.

There were a handful of things I remember you could have wait until adulthood to manifest, but I think the only ones were general body size, tissue layer size, and tissue layer coloration. Maybe a few other things, mostly cosmetic, but nothing involving speed or loss/disuse of body parts. Maybe you could have all the bones in the legs disappate over the course of a few years, that might work.

As for being fed by others, I suppose you could make the cast in question become permanently injured somehow, that's the only way I know you can get things to feed other things. The new doctors might screw this up, though I suspect you'd need to be a legendary crutch user to walk around without bones in any of your legs.

Not having bones, then? Would that work?

I don't know, I haven't played the new version yet.
