.33b Liason
« on: November 17, 2007, 03:37:00 am »

Trade Liason still can't make his way back out of the fortress from different z-levels.

He went berserk and the dogs killed him.  They tore a lot of chunks out of him.
The chunks seems to rot too fast - they pretty much instantly spewed forth miasma.

Oh that's by design, the miasma.

Guys...check the DEV NOTES before posting new topics. This fix wasnt included in the recent release. Toady must fix tons of bugs, and we will have a new release each week AFAIK.

Guys, relax, I read the notes, I may have been interested in other things and simply missed that one.  I did a search for "Liason" in Recent Developments and it turned up no hits.  So, I'm not sure where you got that quote from.

You wasted two snotty posts just to say read the notes.  I, at least, appropriately posted a valid bug in the Bug Reports forum.

This is one of the few games with such stellar dev communication on development.  There's oodles of items that change/get fixed daily.  Different items are experienced in a multitude of ways by any number of people and are immediately ranked a thousand different ways for importance to each of those people.

Bottom line, its still a bug, and this is the appropriate forum for (re)reporting it.  Shove off.

I don't read the list of bugs very often, I appreciate the thread for information.  I do read the changes of what's fixed.  I'm about to try 33b, I never had a problem with liaoson getting lost so I don't expect any trouble now.  Is the insta-miasma a new thing?

Because it's spelled "Liaison".
