Claiming provinces you don't own yet and are closer to another cap circle then your own might be considered inpolite in frost giant society.
Lets see who grabs the elephant merc.

The bosses: Helheim, Arcoscephale, Fomoria, Hinnom, Caelum
The flops: Tien Chi, Agartha, Rlyeh, Ulm, Abysia
EA Rlyeh being low tier/hard mode wasn't a suprise, but the mind-slug fluff thou.

I quite like how we all have very different approches, I certainly lack a long term plan/resolution/goal most games which tends to punish me by lacking the big-win-button some others tend to produce.
Communication is a straight benefit, there are enough enemys around and the one that didn't say hi is as good of a target as any. Even one "secure border" is worth it, imo.

Anything CRISPR experiments can archive for a induvidual, a nation can aproxmiate cheaper using current tools (basic healthcare for many gets you the same "national" result as near-immortality for one, as a silly example), but once that is tapped in or crispr is ready for mass-use, we will hopefully be in a "wiser" world.

I had the luck of no events so far, which is great bc I never play with story events on and if I do it always just seems to be Elementals attacking a throne.
Good fluff of not-rome flexing its gold with mercs.
Will... will i ruin the moutain passes with my cold dominion for myself or can my giants still pass it with snow move?
Being last to do a turn is fine, but if thats the case, just do a double turn. (send in one, wait a minute, do the next turn, too) - that way you shall never be the last one to submit twice.

Ya'll are smull and/or cursed, maybe if you got rid if your ye-haw heat dominion you'd get some pretenders on your throne.

If we play a bigger map, could we reduce the number of thrones, increase the level and put a strong focus on those?
I.e. my silly wish would be:
3x lvl 3 Thrones
3x lvl 2 Thrones.
3x lvl 1 Thrones
9 Victory points to win. (So either the 3 big ones or all other ones or a mixture)
I'm sure a more expierenced players can twist that into something resonable, that retains a focus on high value thrones and fits the map/proivince numbers.
