Who here plays this game? I got the Alien Bundle the other day, been messing around ingame and it's pretty fun.

I bought the huge pack of it and all it's little expansions. This game is difficult as hell, that's for sure.

I tried it for about an hour, but it looked to complicated and I'm not very good at real time strategy games.

I won it, and am slowly but surely getting into it. The dizzying array of various ships and constructs are sort of off-putting.

I got it on the sales, haven't played it much as it's a bit overwhelming.

I play it a bit now and then, I would be interested in some multiplayer if other people are also in. I am not very good, but I am sure it would be great fun.

I've played it, but I barely got anywhere.

I'm also interested in multiplayer.

But I only have the basic game.

This game is fucking terrifying. I just can't seem to wrap my head around it on the rare occasion I try. Which is a shame. The game seems great. Just really, really scary.

I always wanted to try this on multiplayer, but what really scare me is the idea of a multiplayer campaign spanning a week or so with random people all available at random timezone  :o

I've always wanted to see a B12 game get going, but they never happen.

Learn this game, it is so, so worth it.

Also, when you're starting, only learn the big names that change how you attack a planet. Like the "AI Eye", counterattack guard posts, things like that. Other than that, you can pretty much safely ignore most things and just go in with a plan to destroy everything.

I have the base game. Never dared to play at the higher difficulties though and I would be rubbish at multiplayer due to being bad at 'real time' part of RTS.
I've changed planet names to be picked from Google's top1000 of most searched websites - that makes war seem to happen in sort of Uplink-ish cyberspace.

I also picked this up in the sales and have had loads of fun playing games solo. I would be keen to get into the multiplayer side of it but since games last so long its hard to find people to play with. If anyone is interested in getting a game going count me in although im guessing being an aussie it will be hard to find a good time to play.

Had the game, want to play multiplayer, but I'm not even sure who to play with and if I'll have enough time, considering the sheer scope of the game...and that I'm not sure if I can arrange the match for proper time consider I'm in Thailand...

Also: The developers are the most crazy awesome ever...port an entire game into a new engine and release it as free update? Wow...

Been playing it quite a bit, it's not as difficult to get into as people make it seem. Most of all those different shiptypes you can still just send right in there.

Multiplayer would be interesting, but getting it organized seems like a pain.  :P
