IMPORTANT: I am away for a week, so all of my RTD games are on stop and all things im part of are on AI please. Sorry for this guys but its a school camp and i have to go =/
Melee weapons (Includes Luser Attitude Readjustment Tool)Would that go by an alternate name of "cattleprod"? Settings of "stun" or "stir-fry", with "stun" zapping the holder instead?

What level are we on now? If it is only a few floors away, I would rather take the stairs(unless the stairwell is dark) than the elevator...
Rither way, proceed to level 1628.
You'll notice the lack of rolls. There is a reason for this; this is only the (ermm... what's the oppisite of epilouge?).
The IT department usually works out of the basement. I don't think this building has stairs.
We get paid by the hour, right? Doing lengthy, tedious, but neither physically or mentally draining tasks is the best part of getting paid by the hour(alright, so goofing off while the code's compiling is good too). There's also making up problems, but 200 racks is plenty tedious.
Begin inspecting blades.
5 minutes before incident
Hmmm, I missed that incident part. It appears I'm failing spot checks in all your RTDs. I wonder what it could be...
Figure out if someone really was stupid enough to leave the root password lying around, or if it's a code for something.
"Any puzzle is extraordinarily simple to one who knows the solution."
Well, I know nothing of servers or Linux, so tell me, is there any particular form which root passwords must follow?
Can I help with the puzzle, since technically my character hasn't seen it? I don't know how strict you're keeping this RP.
I am a rocket scientiest (ok, so I technically I work on spacecraft instruments, not rockets) and a mathematician, but I have no talent at all for puzzles. I'll leave it for someone else to discover.
i thought you were a philosopher frelockYea, I haven't changed that thing since freshman year of college when I had no clue as to what I wanted to do. I suppose I should get around to doing that.
1.Stablize the mental condition of the user(s) in question:"Look, we are here, there will be no problem, we'll take over, stop screaming, we're cool right?"
2. Put out the fire of the printer in question with my makeshift fire extinguisher, take special care of the amount of CO2 released, to prevent suffocation by CO2 poisoning.
He begins smothering flames near the door with the C02.

However, I do enjoy Philosophy; Plato's on my bookshelf next to my abstract algebra and astrobiology textbooks. Next to those is Machiavelli's The Prince, followed by Bartlett's familiar quotations, R.L. Stephenson's The Black Arrow, Modern Latin America, The Brothers Karamazov, The Poetic Edda, The Icelandic Sagas, Man's Search for Meaning, my old Redwall collection, and a few ancient and never-looked at Disney autograph books from my and my siblings' 5th birthdays. And that's just the top shelf.
Also call whoever must be doing this with cellphone.
We've got no other departments like security and maintaince around...? Cancel the action with cellphone if so.Also call whoever must be doing this with cellphone.
Huh?

Am I with the elevator group?
If so, Attempt to open the top grate of the elevator.
Otherwise, Look for a light source.
Heroically jump onto the elevator and rip off the top grate.Theorically you would never reach the elevator before the bottom because both of you have an acceleration rate of 1g and the elevator started to fall first...That's no different to suicide!
Sorry I havn't been posting this thread seems very active when i am not around.

"Explain yourself. I need a valid reason for our extinction."
While looking for any forms of motion sensor/ security camera around.
Hmm...then change action:"Explain yourself. I need a valid reason for our extinction."
While looking for any forms of motion sensor/ security camera around.
He can't hear you. He just broke into every major method of addressing the people and said a few lines.
How far are we to Frelock's group anyway?
Ok, I think that means we won't be meeting up until the elevators are back online. I'll also assume trying to get to the elevator controls is out.
Somehow I suspect that the current level of LART available works on purely mechanical principles...

Hmm...essentially a glorified baseball bat?
Useful nonetheless in smashing things like computer screens and circuit boards...and it's insulated, could be very useful indeed:)

Don't you think the robot would have found it if there was one around here?
My worry is that the robot will go over to the dark side should we revive him. Much safer to just try to get the generator running again.
Yes, that's the problem; following orders of the newly-awoken skynet would turn out poorly for us, don't you think? Especially if this is a guard-robot. Unless all it has is audio and visual input, which would make it impossible for skynet to hack it.
So much for the robot. I guess don't have to feel bad about trying to screw with it.
Flintus, you have a pistol.
Frelock: 5
You solder together some old solar panels to make a solar cell (recharges 10 units of power per turn).
Inventory:
Frelock: Tie, Cellphone, Two pens, multifunction calculator/battery charger, Swiss Army Knife, ColdHeat, Battery, Universal Screwdriver, hand-crank recharger.
+1 Hardware & Network Maintainance
+1 Basic Electronics and Soldering
+1 Improvisation
See if I can improvise a harness that allows me to carry the air compressor with me.
Attempt to absail outside and look for where the paper planes are coming from. (God this could go wrong)
Since when did we go from Hell Desk to MechWarrior? d=

We'd eventually end up into more than a Point's worth of Elementals (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Elemental) if things continue to go like this:P
While respected for their prowess, few Elementals attain the post of Khan.

Pretty good...We might get ourselves a ghoul (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ghoul) soon. ;)
Ride the elevator to a server floor.
Try again, continue to keep a safe distance.
While following Frelock.
Am I also in the server room right now?
see if i can reprogram it.
see if i can reprogram it....Yea...It's kinda had its internal components destroyed.

I recommend one of you hack into the main servers for that VR program this company is working on and insert a backdoor to allow programs within it to upload themselves to robots in reality.
I have no ulterior motives for this request... none at all...
CHOCOLATE RAIN
DUR, EMETIC?
"You want it that way?". If they refuse to let go, chop them in the windpipe and take out the last bot by chucking...
A) Flintus if he refused to let go or B) With a bulky item
Pretty obviousy...Punctured lung and internal haemorrhage for Flintus, and...a literal head a'splode like eggs in a microwave for me.
Both are very complex and dangerous conditions.
DOS? :D
>Check laptop's wireless capabilities.
up to and including serious burns which may not be immediately evident because of the tendency for microwaves to heat deeper tissues with higher moisture content.Since microwaves are unblockable without proper equipment, I have possibly made an undercooked TV dinner with my innards...

Neither of these sounds too good......
Anyway...Add action:Check that medkit Qwerty used on Flintus and make out what that actually is first.
Search for some naloxone to give to nuker.Better check Flintus first. Nuker is high on that for sure...but sounds like it's Flintus who overdosed on that.
Morphine overdose is bad!
You might want to re-adjust the power section to include that 8000 units of power storage and 2 nuclear batteries. Though I really don't think I'll ever use that much power, unless I plan on climbing 20 meters while spinning up the minigun and firing a plasma bolt in a single turn. Actually, with that plasma bolt...
Integrate plasma bolt generator into my power armor's hands. (http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=9q7oYjyAw2g&feature=related)

It's not really that sort of plasma gun. It's the sort of thing that you build while drunk on a sunday and accidentally blow up your fridge with.
Does the new LART have an internal battery? I don't see it on the item list. (It's also not in my inventory.)
Grab some AP, HE and I ammo for my minigun from the downed guardbots.
There's also the fact that it's a minigun and not an Auto Cannon.
Miniguns fire bullets, and while I've heard that there are such things as explosive bullets, I've never heard of an incendiary bullet outside of XCOM (and the Auto Cannon probably isn't a minigun).

Sure, but they're not incendiary. They just have a little bit of phosphorus in the tip. You can't even light gasoline with them (mythbusters). Incendiary ammunition means it explodes like a firebomb, and I don't know how that can be possible with anything smaller than a rocket launcher.
Examine the gun for target designators and programming interface alike.
I think that's enough looting. Where to next?
I noticed you conveniently forgot my turn...
According to Joseph Folino of the 691st Tank Destroyer Battalion, he and his men were equipped with both high-velocity armor piercing and incendiary shells. When they mistakenly fired an incendiary shell at a tank, he described it as "the best thing that could have happened." The phosphorus exploded inside the tank, and raised the temperature so much that its crew surrendered immediately. He also said that their phosphorus rounds could burn through anything, even steel
Check for possible bobbytrapping on the terminal first.
>Do something useful!
(I don't know what to do...)
The entire point of RTDs is collateral damage. If you want to get things done you play a real RPG. If you want to get things done while wrecking the landscape for miles around you play an RTD.
Hold the wheel mate? Bust out my rocket launcher and send a HE rocket at them.
Ah crap. GET IN MAH CAR AND DRIVE AWWWWWAAAAAY
Walk up to the guards and convince them that we're refugees. (says the guy in the power armor)
>Do something useful
Find some jumpjets to add to my suit. That keeps the light attack thing going.
How long are we going to screw around here?
There's nothing light about a jet engine.
What did I even do, i'm not sure....
Fiddle around with mah lazer, seeing if I can tune it to allow for a tiny lazer with intense heat.
How much power does Frelock's multifunction thingy hold anyway?
What did I even do, i'm not sure....

As opposed to?!?

Almost forgot. Fiddle around with mah lazer, seeing if I can tune it to allow for a tiny lazer with intense heat. Whilst driving with one hand.
I'm talking minute. Like.... Almost like an engraving laser size.
>Find some sort of cooling system for the capacitors.
If I can get it to the point where it can fully charge in 5 turns or less, does not explode from maintaining full charge, and retains it's max charge, it will be very useful. Even if I don't have a use for it at first, I could loan it to Frelock...
Oh boy, puzzles.
Use phone browser again to get news; who's firing these nukes, where are they targeting, and why are they doing this?
Try again to modify my laser to be the size of a diamond cutter.
I forget, what's SMDC? I could always just nuke it.
