+1 to Cpt. Thorne (B) and Illiad.

Seeing the enemy in retreat, Eversor initially pursued in his enthusiasm, before forcefully smothering the urge to run them down and crush their bodies into paste. He was no longer fighting for fighting's sake alone, he reminded himself once again.

From the deathly mist billowing around the Armor, his voice echoed towards the Centaurs, "Lay down your weapons and let us parley. It is not in His Majesty's intentions to senselessly slay fellow Monsters."

Monarch, once the sandy ground he had landed on had been promptly eradicated moments after the fact, was frankly, somewhat dissatisfied. Miffed, if you will, as he floated in the void, above where Esulom had once been.

It was a very unControllable set of events.

He took stock of what remained and his options. An unknown North and a still livable region under the Control of a powerful God-King who wanted to instill... democracy!? Monarch suppressed a retch... what an utterly Abhorrent idea. He supposed it was predictable of such an offensively Radiant entity.

The King of Shadows shook his head - he had no interest in contesting Gempria. At least for now. He turned his gaze to the North and then the God-King leading his people to the Unknown.

An opportunity?

Minor Intervention:
Monarch issues an edict onto the North, commanding the Region to stabilize its southernmost lands, to eradicate their mystery, forcing them to become livable... preferably, in his 'image'.

Minor Blessing:
Monarch blesses the Kingdom of Mana, to shield them from draconic wrath during their journey.

"Ah... Finally. It has been months..."

If a suit of armor could have an unhinged expression, Eversor would have one as he practically launches himself at the Centaurs. Make them [Witness True Strength].

How dare you hang on to (un)life with 3HP!? Another Mana Drain, and hopefully drain some MP this time!

Assuming the fight ends, hoover up the 10 Essence and the party will continue forth.

Under the pestering of Prophet, I am duty-bound to join this. As such...

Stand back! I'm welding canons!

Spoiler: Monarch (click to show/hide)

Eversor gazed at his new, but already replaced mace with some consternation, his other armored gauntlet holding an ebon, masterfully crafted mace that was somewhat smaller, but no less heavier, the head and haft bearing fine engravings and far more of an elegant weapon compared to the last two. Perhaps one of the other Lords could find some use for his bounty from Tartarus? The Armor looked at Lord Gnarl, dismissing him as a candidate immediately - the weapon was literally larger than the Gremlin Elder. Lord Unipent? No... no hands. Lord Ot'Ku Bo? On an expedition... Perhaps the Far'Gloen Duke? Expedition...

The Armor let out an echoing sigh, walking towards the Armory.

Eversor receives a Nigredine Mace, his old Enchanted Mace being stored within the Armory for a different Lord to use.

Then, Eversor will cash in his remaining Royal Favor for armor for the... Armor. Hm. Perhaps a magic item or alternatively etching runes onto his plates would be a simpler affair.

With his Personal Request being fulfilled thanks to Azarian's help, the Armor of Zethe will then request that the Mining Village of the Parabes Mountains be expanded, building the necessary infrastructure to support extracting Rare Ores.

With all of that done, Eversor will gather his warriors and set out to the unexplored Tundra.

[Ulkas is in Easenval's Deadland as I suspected? Looking forwards to seeing 'Ferratus' again.]

"Geh... Wyverns. Might not be a dragon, but still brings back bad memories." Eximius 'winced', recalling a certain toxic sludge dragon from long, long ago.

Try to clip one of their wings with a Mana Wave. If successful in grounding them, finish with a Mana Drain.

Though he intended to leave at the turn of the month, Eversor decided to postpone his departure, as he felt there were still things to be done within the Capital.

The Armor sought out Gnarl, to seek his assistance in a matter. "Lord Gnarl. Might I invite you to join me in the Royal Forges? It has been a long three months that our smiths toiled at the twin ores of Tartarus, but it is clear that they will require aid if they are to find success in their refinement."

Eversor invites the Gremlin Lord to join him in finding ways of refining and using Albedine and Nigredine.

"... Perhaps we put in a bit too much effort for this battle?" Eximius wondered, seemingly having gotten too used to battling with enemies he and Prias had no business fighting in the first place. "... Oh well."

Shrugging as well as a ring could, the Living Weapon eagerly vacuumed up the Essence left behind by the ogres. "Ready to continue?"

Onwards to Satroya! ... Well, maybe let's see if there's anything useful on the ogres first. Or if something useful could be made out of them.

"Hrm... Let's put them down one by one."

Have Prias split into two of him with an Illusion and attempt to draw away one of the Ogres into trying to deal with it for as long as possible while we try to take down the other.

Let's kick it off with a Mana Slash.

Eversor naturally equips his newfound weapon and artifact, if he hadn't done so already.

As his previous request was made obsolete, Eversor will instead request that a place where Lords may develop new tactics and strategies be made within Tartarus.

In the meantime, as his last act before preparing to leave the Capital, the armored Lord will attempt to develop a new Tactic, simple but effective - involving personally charging into the midst of the enemy, drawing all attention onto himself while allowing his aura to billow out with unrestrained force to further weaken the enemy.

13
Eversor picks out a hefty mace to replace his worn-down original, this one even more menacing in size than the last. His second bounty is one of the unknown artifacts.

Then, he decided to put the Tartarian Guards through some drills and training - experienced as they may be there is no trait denoting that they are.

(Danger or not, we need to go there and do the Hero thing. Not just for Safara, but for those at the borders of Nepkeros as well. But I can't have you go there with just me to accompany you...)

Making himself audible to the four adventurers, Eximius sighed, finally revealing his presence. "It may be perilous, Squire, but it has to be done as soon as possible - lest our inaction pass down a 'death sentence' on those who can't do anything about this. If you're willing to risk your lives to assist, follow the Hero. My wielder will gladly welcome your help."

Heroic party ho?

(It's almost too quiet in here. Unnerving... Though, perhaps it's these orbs that attract the monsters?)

The Hero and his Weapon have began assisting the adventurers, of course. Though Eximius did want to take a closer look at the shattered orb.

While Prias helped the group, Eximius kept an eye out for dangers.
