So it's the old Garfield Randomizer, but with Garfield Minus Garfield supplying the panels? I don't know if that's better or worse.

There was a long time ago, before Garfield Minus Garfield existed. It just made a Garfield strip out of random panels, sort of like this does, except with the original strips. The copyright holders weren't amused, and got made, and it was taken down.
This is... I don't know what to say...Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I think there's a pretty small selection of images in the rotation.
I think something went screwy. My previous posts don't look right.

How'd you cheat? Spliced the images in with paint/photoshop?
Heh, yeah, love that corn panel. Never found anything that it really fit into though...How'd you cheat? Spliced the images in with paint/photoshop?
Haha, hell no... I'd make a right arse of myself attempting to do that. Trust me, my shopping skills are abominable.
No, I just tweaked the URL. When you click on a link, you get something like "garfield.zweistein.cz/strip1295957319.(huge string of letters)". Since refreshing or re-navigating to that page results in the same strip, there must be something that's defining it. After some tweaking, I found out that the string of letters controls what panels make up the trip. Then it was just a matter of randomizing until I found the individual panels I wanted, saving their letter-key information, and then pasting it into a different browser to custom-craft my own strip.
Check the link for the photo I posted, it goes right to the site. Also, I couldn't find any noticeable effect from changing the strip number, so that's why my strip is number 1666666666.
Hmm, seems like i need to add new frames :)

That doesn't work. You have to add some new content too. Like [urlhttp://garfield.zweistein.cz/strip.830470571.MDA3MGF8MDA1MmJ8MDA3N2M.html]this[/url].
This new forum software won't do word wrapping, so rather than drive myself mad, enjoy these hyperlinks. Also, I can't see what I'm typing right now.I was having the same problem, turns out the window can be resized... only it started out as having a massive width for me. hit CTRL+F5, that should clear your cache and such.
I've got a better idea. Why not a Reddit subgroup for these? Would anyone vote there? Would anyone submit to it?

I don't think you need permission- this is parody, and thus protected by fair use.
We do not consider either of them as a parody.
It is someone using our intellectual property, and creating a derivative work for entertainment purposes, or to get attention for themselves, instead of creating their own intellectual property.
Please discontinue your use. It is our hope to resolve this matter with you informally, and amicably.
Thank you,
Bob Beasley
General Counsel
Super lame. You could probably win a fair use defense, but then you'd have to, y'know, defend in a court of law. Which would probably not be worth it, unless you can get the ACLU or EFF or somebody involved.
Even if it was Parody, it is pretty much riding directly on their backs way past I think the parody law should protect.
The Lawyers are still being jerks, but ehhh... in court I see it their way.
Ehhhh I am less on their side in this case... since all they did is took Garfield comic strips and organized them and SOMETIMES removed characters from them.
They really didn't create anything themselves... didn't change words around, didn't alter scenes, didn't even do commentary... (or wait... they did create a title generator...)

Wait, this is still at thing? Did Google hero it up?
