Children have massive accounts?

The children of my baron/baroness have about 8000 dwarfbucks in their accounts each. Is this normal? Where are they getting the money? O.o

Of course, a dwarven coffee shop would probably sell VERY, VERY powerful coffee. Perhaps enough to kill a human? O_o

*a few weeks later, the fortress is fending off human sieges by pouring dwarven coffee down on them*

The humans would probably just melt.

Anyways, to go back on topic, children are rich because they "own" the combined wealth of their parents.
