Funny work story from today.  I've built up a pretty complicated laboratory management system where I work, and it often sends people emails to remind them to do things or general notifications.  For fun, I set it up so if it RECEIVES an email, it replies "The QAI didn't understand your email, and offers to read your fortune instead:" and then outputs a random fortune from the linux fortune command.  I've had this set up like this for years.

Today I get a message from my boss.

There is a blog literally titled "Angry Asian Man."

The article which introduced me to the blog wasn't so funny - It was about an incident of racism which caused the writer to live up to his name, but still.

It might be the fact that I'm really tired, but I found this to be pretty funny. Unfortunately, the videos that are now loaded into my(and yours!) "recommended" video list are probably NSFW. (video is perfectly safe, though)

For the most part, no. At least no NSFW stuff though if I were to actually log in to my Google account.... And the video I posted simply appeared on the Youtube frontpage recommendations list while the rest of it was mostly stuff I've already watched or directly related to stuff I just watched.

I've pretty much always got it suggesting I watch a video of some fat hawaiian guy singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I don't know where he came from but I'm essentially ignoring him on principle at this point.

A fun experiment about Youtube clickbait:
Step 1: open an incognito window.
Step 2: go watch a couple videos. It works particularly fast on gaming channels.
Step 3: take a quick look at the recommended videos' thumbnails/titles and then inflict some heavy cranial trauma on yourself to forget about it as quickly as possible.

It's not rubbish, that's hilarious! As advice goes it's not terribly helpful, though, unless you can get a clear shot on the ringleader before they swarm you.

Booby-traps are always the best, safest way to deal with clown attacks. Why? Because they trapeze-ily.
