The SMBC mouse-over text is great today.

You can Ctrl+click to right click on a Mac. Apple would have much lower sales volume if you couldn't right click, that's a pretty fundamental problem.

Unless the program captures certain keystrokes. Or the user has a *checks notes* "complete wetware failure."

Complete wetware failure made me think of hacking into people's heads, and that got me thinking about that scene in Hannibal where's he's taken the top of the dudes skull off and is cooking his brains - with the dude who's brain is being eaten wanting to eat some too, due to being half lobotomized.

The amusing thing is that a flatmate had the novel of that movie and I flipped through it and found that scene. Now, while in the movie Clarice is super-upset and going "no no no stop" and crying, in the novel she's all "yeah, fuck that dude, never liked him anyway, i'll try a bit". So in the books it seems it's more like a dance between Hannibal and Clarice, with her drawn into his eating-peoples-brains world, whereas in the movies they removed that element.

Yes.

I was poking through a bunch of those earlier today... started here, and things kinda spiralled from there. Was an hour well spent.  :))

As long as it does not involve people getting too hurt or dying.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

It's good to see Grey fever* has fully infected Bay12, I recall posting some old videos of his a while back and barely getting a peep out of anyone here.

EDIT: and I just realized Grey Fever sounds like a really sketchy interest in the aged ladies.
