Title: First World Created on New and Improved Laptop
Post by: Man of Paper on October 02, 2010, 07:49:20 pm
Not really new, but fixed and made better. I'm using .12 (until Adventurer mode gets a bit of a fix). I wanted my world to be epic, as I'm rebreaking this laptop's DF hymen.

The world is called The Realm of Dragons.

Remember how I used the term "rebreaking this laptop's DF hymen"? (If you don't there might be a problem)
DF may have seen it that way too.
I have "The Ocean of Wetting", with islands titled "The Oily Land", "The Island of Speechlessness" (which is made solely of "The Pregnant Hill". Bad luck there, bro), "The Land of Spreading" (made up of "The Hills of Uncertainty"), "The Land of Intensity" and the mainland is known as "The Continent of Stroking". The largest tundra area is also called "The Frost of Temptation", and a large portion of my world is swamps.

I'm getting ready for some sexy embarks.

o.0

That's...  quite something.  Tell me, did you get an unusually high world population too?

Haven't really checked much yet. I've been straightening out other stuff (note that worldgen came first on my list of stuff to do with a "new" laptop).

Oh, and I also found a second continent, "The Released Syrup-Continents". It houses "The Finger of Silkness". I think I died a little inside.

I've got 25241 historical figures in 262 years of worldgen (I stopped it early so as to be mar dwarfier. Somehow.)

Dunno if that means anything, or is a high number. I've never really looked into legends mode.
I really don't know much about it at all.

My face is red and smiling in a cheeky manner at the prospect of your fortress.

Now do me—and yourself—a proper favor. Make the walls of one room with pitchblende, the floors with kaolinite and the bed of tower cap logs. Fill the room of the finest things, an adamantium statue in the corner... A handful of gold coins spread about... A barrel of the finest rum in your fortress... And two caged bears, one female and one male on opposing sides of the room. The dwarves will make love in a tempest of lust and desire at the center of the room.

May your dwarves bear many children, Man of Paper.

I looked through legends mode some more, and there is apparently this group of goblins called The Immorality of Kissing. The dark tower they made?

Incestsomething.

Sadly, I can't find Dwarf Fortress on my laptop at the moment. Was it just teasing me, like those women things?

My sister's first fortress was placed neighbouring a Goblin civilisation. The civilisation's name? "The Seductions of Incest".

Goblins are weird.

So incredibly sigged.

Not to be a prick, but I'm going to point out that dwarves reproduce via spores.

A possible alternative to the Dwarven Spore theory is that *certain parts* of Dwarven anatomy extend into the fourth dimension. (Of course, this is completely ridiculous, as the fourth dimension hasn't even been implemented yet.)
