I removed a dwarf from the militia because I wanted to train her in managing.
However, she was assigned to pick up bolts at the moment, and her job oscillates hundreds of times per second between that and no job while she stands in one place, doing nothing, except maybe starving.
I've removed her using the military screen, and I've removed her using the preferences menu. Yet there she stands in the middle of my stone stockpile, consumed by the thought of 31 copper bolts.
I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum. Feel very free to move it.
Edit: It seems she will haul things, but I'm not sure if she goes back to the loop then or not.
