How to find a player itself. My replacee has gone three phases without a replacer to take his place, I need to find someone to be the replacer.
We had a replacements needed/openings thread at one point, possibly in the parent forum.
One of the unfortunate things about joining the forum when I did is that many of the old guard faded from the forum just before or just after, and I never got to play with them...
Org's still here. :P (Remember the PWV play?...which game was that, again?)

So, if we could have an all-star Mafia game*, who would be in what positions? Webadict as scum, Pandarsenic as SK, Toony as Jester...

* (yes,I know, obviously cannot as it provides too much meta-information in the selection process)

Witches' Coven
Beautiful flavor.  Unwinnable wincons.  Complicated setups.  Crazy gambits.
A fun read. Also, I'd say, an interesting progression of pressure/investigation on d3, and then...well.

Just go read it, will you?

This one is driving me insane, and I can't dig it up by google.

The era was late Win98ish, I think. (Could be early XP.) It was a three-dimensional fantasy flight combat game, with the usual thin premise of a story of a tournament. There were several types of characters to play, though you could only play as dragons initially. Most of the missions were simple deathmatch, were some CTF(maybe) and definitely some tag (as in the child's game, not tag-team) missions. There were munitions and magics, the least spell for dragons being simple dragonsbreath, gradually consuming your magic. You could buy additional weapons (each variety of combatant had six) and upgrade their power.

You could get a loan from a loan shark, as the bottom option on the menu of about 5.

The dragon-riders were the average characters of the bunch. There were the dwarves (may misname other factions) who flew about in slow but heavily-armored dirigibles, with more tech-based weapons, and gnomes who flew about on fragile swans/geese that had powerful magic.

Anyone? Heeelp?
I am informed it was "Flying Heroes".  Huzzah.

Now if only I had infinite time to devote to everything...

The problem of coming back to any forum is the pages of threads you once followed that now have some years of updates to check on...that the forum software may forget as soon as you log out, as your new "visit" is newer than they.

Thirdvote? Fabricating a bandwagon, you lying scum! Jack A T

So, that's three
Oh?
You, Alexhans (though I admit that's stretching it, as he just popped up to say hi).
Right, that's two. Third? Besides, I, too, am probably just popping up to say hi, though you never know...

A great series of bastard mods (the Witches' Coven games)
Reading, already.

*ahem*
Cobalt! :D

...Vector is in a cookie jar?
Vec finally got  spoiled on the rules for IMBM(BMM). I keep looking in here every few months/at the rules, thinking "Hmm, I should get around to that" but Mafia's a pretty big time investment, even if I didn't log on.

It's kind of amusing that I decide to post right after my thread about discussing rules variants got replaced, not that I mind.

So I'm "the great"? How's that?

edit: I presume both of you, 4maskwolf and Tiruin, are active mafia players now?

Well, I must say, I never thought I would get to meet the great Cobalt Kobold.

It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am
We have a topic for this (Sorry if I seem brusque)

To truly excel at this, you've got to be effective without obtaining renown. You've got to be present and engaged while seeming distant and forgettable. In short, you've got to be not quite there: a psycho-spiritual state of being that I always feel like I'm on the verge of obtaining but never quite reach. Indeed, notquitethere is not quite there at being not quite there.

Well, I guess I've failed.

Hi, my name is Alex and I've been unmafia'd for 4 years

So, what's happening, aside from Vector getting into the cookie jar?

And Webadict noticing that, in fact, he was a webadict.

Did RW0 give Vector the rules PM already?

Do trolls have reproductive organs?

More importantly, do they masturbate?

Because if so, that lends a whole new light on the recent chatlogs.

Or rather, a greasy dingy light sputtering in a back room.

One word. Buckets.
Two words, shame globes.

You know what? We give the MSPA forums too much crap about making creepy fanstuff of the characters. They are not too bad about it.
Now the MC forums, that is where the creepy stuff comes from.

But... This is hillarious! XP
eh. Somewhat funny, but suggesting that trolls have gender identity hangups like humans. At least some of them have been shown not to- "there's a word for that?"

This is completely pointless.
I'm surprised Hussie caved so quickly.

More importantly, it looks like he has latent psychic powers!

Let's first narrow this list down by the ones who make complete messes of their homes/rooms.
[snip]
By these criteria Rose makes the best roommate.
One word for you: Meow. This knocks out John too, of course.
